The quality of the sushi is excellent: fresh fish, meticulous preparation, and refined presentation. The menu is varied, with options ranging from classic nigiri and sashimi to more unusual and creative combinations, allowing you to try different and always interesting flavors. The staff is friendly and the quality/price ratio is excellent.

Best sushi I've ever had, top-notch food quality, and fast table service. Fair prices, and the owner is super friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of a bathroom or even a sink to wash your hands before eating. Highly recommended.

I live in Lucca and before I never ate sushi anywhere, since I discovered kooka I loved it! Even take a way the taste is always excellent. The fish is quality, always fresh and the combinations are fantastic. The staff is always kind and helpful! The best in the province ♥️

07/09/2025: We love this place, different kind of food so everyone will be happy. Great food and great service.
29/08/2025: Gulkan salmon with truffle. That dish alone deserves 10 stars. Very good dishes, I don't like raw fish (only seared), but my partner does, and having been a chef, he knows his stuff. Two sore points... if the kitchen closes early, it should be announced when you book. We were told this upon arrival, and we even saw people get angry because they hadn't been notified. We complied, but most of the dishes my partner ordered never arrived. Some were sold out, but we hadn't been told and it wasn't written, so by the time the kitchen closed, my partner had eaten three dishes and some of mine, which luckily arrived almost immediately. It would be nice if the women's bathroom could be closed, it makes you anxious... and maybe a little more light in the bathroom (I don't know why, but in almost all oriental restaurants, there's no light in the bathroom...) Friendly waiters and staff. 4 stars for the problems we encountered, which would really take very little, but otherwise, SUPER. Special thanks to whoever makes the salmon and truffle gulkan. It made me choose it over lasagna. Never before had an Asian restaurant made me put lasagna second. Thank you 🥰🥰🥰

Sushi Jazz

04/11/2025: The Place to Be in Pietrasanta One evening, while we were in Pietrasanta, we discovered this elegant lounge bar and restaurant while strolling through the streets of the city center. The jazz music enticed us to stop and take a look inside. The decor was superb. We decided to sit down for a drink since it was already late. A couple of regulars were eating, and we noticed they were serving sushi. Judging by the customer satisfaction, I think the quality is excellent. As for the cocktails, they were a real treat. It was a superb evening, and I recommend this place to anyone passing through this beautiful city.
28/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday evening, without a reservation and with no expectations. The place is worth it because the food is excellent and plentiful, the service is prompt, and the wait is practically non-existent. The selection of authentically Japanese dishes is remarkable, with many variations and detailed explanations. The price is fair, and the music—strictly jazz—is absolutely unobtrusive and of high quality.
