The food quality is above average for sushi in the city. Service is courteous but slow and unpredictable: it's embarrassing and against all etiquette for diners to eat at different times. The €5 cover charge is unjustified (the tablecloth isn't enough), out of line, and different from the website's listing.

The restaurant is "locked down" on weekends, so reservations are required, otherwise you won't be able to get in. We ate well. Good quality and good service. They have an extensive wine list.

After touring Italian restaurants for days, a Japanese food for lunch felt divine. Our lunch menu: fried rice, ebi tempura, and salmon. The highlight was the fried rice! It's perfect because of the smokiness, the veggies texture was great, the rice was not too oily. I am Indonesian so I have a high standard when it comes to a fried rice :) The ebi tempura and salmon were just okay, nothing special. For dessert, we had a greentea ice cream which was not too sweet, perfect for the Asians.

I always have a wonderful experience at Koko. The food is incredibly fresh, the cuisine excellent, and the service attentive and punctual. The prices aren't commercial, but thank goodness... Absolutely recommended.

Excellent Japanese restaurant. You can definitely feel the difference compared to the average Japanese restaurant in Florence. The sushi is excellent, as are the grilled dishes. The tatami room is very nice. It's been a sure thing for years now.

12/03/2026: If you're celiac and looking for a sushi place, stop here because these guys truly understand what it means to eat gluten-free and then prepare and serve food separately to avoid cross-contamination. The only flaw is that the allergens on their menu aren't listed correctly, but just ask the waiter to find out that much of their menu can be prepared gluten-free. When they brought my sushi to the table, they double-checked the order to make sure it was placed correctly. When you fill out the order slip, write "Gluten-Free" in the notes; nothing could be simpler. I've rarely felt so at ease at a place that isn't part of the AIC network; try it and believe it.
21/02/2026: I recommend this restaurant to everyone... excellent food, great service, and a very welcoming atmosphere 🍣🍤🥢🍱❣ And the staff is phenomenal!

28/02/2026: It was delicious. The restaurant is located in the center of Florence and is fairly easy to find. I've been to many all-you-can-eat restaurants, and here's what I can say: 1) Food: The portions were large compared to other all-you-can-eat restaurants. The food was served hot and was very tasty. 2) Menu: What was really missing were pictures on the menu and some unique dishes that could differentiate the restaurant from others. I think that would be a great feature for the restaurant. Another thing I'd like to add about the menu: it was difficult to look at and read; the red color of the numbers looks cheap and puts pressure on the customer. I'd also like to add the post-it notes we used to write our orders on... I think they really need a prettier alternative. 3) Atmosphere: The place is cozy and calm. I really liked that. Overall, I think this is a good place. But there's room for improvement and work.
