The food was exceptional. Both the regular meals, and the specialties. Tried the edamame, uakame, and the sushi. 5+. The gyokyu beef is totally amazing, as well. Do check the place out, you will definitely enjoy it!

I ordered takeout a few nights ago. The order arrived right on time, with everything. I liked the sushi, but not the rice at all. I then had a portion of vegetable ravioli and they weren't bad, but I've had much better ones. I'll be back to the restaurant soon to try something else. A good option for takeout sushi. Not a gift, but good.

Restaurant run by Chinese people, like 99% of the restaurants in Florence.
We ate sushi, and as always a disappointment, you can't taste the fish.
Now all the "Japanese" restaurants have thrown themselves into these fusion dishes, where they mix fish that tastes like nothing with rice and other ingredients to try to give a flavor that makes sense.
The one we usually go to does it quite well, Koko not particularly.
The waiters are very kind and go like satellites, but once the dishes were brought they ignored us.
Quite an elegant restaurant, but the tables were so crowded that I found out about all my neighbors.
I went there because they told me the food was good, but it was absolutely average.

I've been going to Koko off and on for years now. I've always had a good time but despite the high quality, you can't justify always finding yourself stuck in tables that are very close to each other. I don't go to a (not cheap) restaurant to rub elbows with strangers... I suggest reviewing the need to fill as many tables as possible to the detriment of the customers' well-being. For the rest, as good as

What an incredible meal! Alessia made us feel at home, and the experience was wonderful. Food was out of this world. The Sake got the mood going and the food was 10/10

It's a combination of Japanese and Italian cuisine, and it's the best restaurant you can't eat in Japan 🌟 If you miss Japanese food during your trip, you should definitely go there as a taste experience unique to traveling 💖
