At this very moment, I have the privilege of delighting in Chitarra, a local specialty that represents a true masterpiece of Abruzzo's culinary tradition. It is a type of egg spaghetti, prepared with a traditional technique involving the use of a wire frame, known as a "chitarra," which gives the pasta a square cross-section and perfect porosity to capture every nuance of the sauce. Its texture is unparalleled, and its flavor, the fruit of simple yet high-quality ingredients, is simply exquisite and satisfying. It's a dish that embodies the true essence of Italian cuisine: passion, history, and fresh ingredients blending in a harmony of flavors. This culinary experience further confirms how Italy's gastronomic diversity is one of its greatest cultural and touristic expressions, capable of enchanting and satisfying even the most discerning palates, making every meal an opportunity to celebrate local traditions and artisanal excellence.

On the last evening of our stay in Ortona, we accidentally discovered this restaurant, less than a 10-minute drive from the city center. The restaurant offers convenient parking, welcoming and helpful staff, a very clean and airy atmosphere, and excellent food with fast service. Excellent value, highly recommended!

Found it by chance because I was looking for a gluten-free pizzeria near my accommodation... A pleasant discovery! The gluten-free dough is really good; if you like thin dough, this is the one for you! Delicious flavor; I had a focaccia without mozzarella, even with just a few ingredients! My partner said the classic dough was also excellent! Congratulations, guys! 👏🏻👏🏻😉

We went to this pizzeria last night after reading the reviews. The place has very convenient parking. The staff is young and extremely friendly! We ordered typical Abruzzo appetizers, which includes four courses. Everything was truly delicious! I was already full 😅, followed by pizzas of various flavors. Very, very good! Excellent ingredients and truly top-notch dough! Highly recommended!

I went with my family from San Vito Chietino to have dinner at this pizzeria because I found really high quality, something I didn't find in some restaurants on the coast. I tried almost all the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, truly excellent. Alessandra and her assistant are polite and attentive to the customer. The pizza chef is a real master (as we say in Naples). Excellent light dough and toppings always with quality ingredients. I really recommend it; there are few people in tourist areas who work with conscience and passion. The price? Equally high quality.
