Freshly squeezed orange juice and the most delicious bruschetta we've ever eaten! Plus, you sit under old vaulted ceilings above the Passer River. It's truly pleasant on hot days. We loved it here!

Roman Bridge – Merano The Roman Bridge of Merano, located just above the Ponte della Posta, is a charming pedestrian crossing that crosses the Passirio River. It connects the famous walks in the upper part of the city and is one of the most iconic and photographed symbols of this lively and colorful town in South Tyrol. An ideal destination for a break during excursions, the bridge offers picturesque views perfect for a souvenir shot. Not far away is a cozy kiosk where you can relax and refresh yourself, comfortably seated with a splendid panoramic view of the river and the surroundings. At the foot of the bridge you can directly access the water of the Passirio, a very popular option for dipping your feet and finding refreshment after long walks in the surrounding areas. A fascinating place, full of atmosphere and perfectly integrated with the natural and architectural beauty of Merano.

The Chiosco da Max is beautifully situated next to the Ponte Romano and the Passirio River in Merano. This small café serves hot and cold drinks, soft drinks, and small snacks. The staff was friendly and cheerful. The restaurant has limited outdoor seating. The location is fantastic; you can hear the sound of the river and unwind; it's a truly wonderful atmosphere. Prices are generally mid-range. The restrooms were okay in terms of cleanliness.
