Kintsugi tea&cakes In Torino

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive: they pointed out that a dessert we'd ordered wasn't halal because of the gelatin, a gesture we greatly appreciated. The roll cake was phenomenal, we'll definitely be back! Edit: We returned and it was as phenomenal as we expected 🥹🤍

A little corner of Japan in the heart of Turin. I was pleasantly surprised by this elegant little place, which offers truly authentic flavors. For those like me who travel frequently to Japan and want to rediscover its flavors, this place is truly excellent! The anpam with real anko jam (red bean jam) cut into small pieces and unsweetened was excellent, delicious because it wasn't cloying! The caramel milk latte was truly like one I've had in a Tokyo café! The neko biscuit will satisfy your matcha cravings (and your Totoro/Miyazaki fandom!). A vast selection of teas (not just Japanese, but also Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese) and more elaborate preparations (matcha latte, etc.), and excellent pastries! I highly recommend this place, and you can easily book online (recommended if you want to be sure of getting in). You'll have 1.5 hours to relax... which is more than enough time to unwind and enjoy the excellent oriental flavors.

For me, going to Kintsugi is always a treat. I find the pastries delicious and the tea selection excellent. I recommend trying the specialties (things you can only find there), the houjicha and the roasted barley. The only downside: the very slow service.

Given the large turnout (unusual for a simple bar), reservations are absolutely essential. Despite our reservations, they were quite disorganized, to the point of handing me a tiny stool instead of a chair. Other than that, the prices are above average compared to the competition, and the products are quite good.

A very cute Japanese-style restaurant, not far from the city center. It's a shame it's not very big, and at certain times you might run the risk of being sold out. The staff is courteous and helpful. And there's a wide selection of desserts and drinks with exotic flavors. Last time I had a very good mousse, some mochi pops, and a truly delicious Strawberry Matcha Latte. The price may be a bit high, but it's worth a visit.

Very good and unique recipes. Fresh and truly refined products, excellent selection of teas. The problem, however, is the price, which is way too high. €15 is a bit high for a snack, including a drink and dessert.

I love this place, especially the Mochi and the Matcha Bowl, and everyone is super nice!
