24/12/2024: This year, returning to Pescara for Christmas (after 20 years away), also meant one thing for me: a real fish soup. I had heard a thousand rumors about La Murena: "If he likes you, you eat like God, if not, you make do." And instead: perfect experience. A young waiter, with rare sincerity, stopped us immediately when we asked for a hot-cold appetizer and two fish broths, advising us to only take an appetizer and a broth. We ate everything without waste and without bursting (and there was also some broth left over for tomorrow). The broth and also all the cold and hot appetizers were crazy. Fresh, fragrant, tasty fish, with a sauce that makes you want to drink directly from the plate. And this applies to everything: authentic dishes, without frills, without that fake elegance of a "cool Michelin" restaurant. The staff is genuine, direct, never intrusive. Here the fish is the absolute protagonist and you can feel it. So, if you are looking for sincere cuisine, done well and without mockery, La Murena is the right place. Highly recommended.

21/12/2024: I had an exceptional lunch at this restaurant. The food was excellent, with fish that tasted incredibly fresh. The service was outstanding, attentive and friendly. The prices are competitive, especially considering the high quality of the meal. Highly recommend!
