06/01/2026: I've been to La Riviera several times, and it's a good value. You always find a table, the table service is quick and friendly, it's clean, etc. Sometimes, however, eating at La Riviera isn't a pleasant experience. Recently, I ordered seafood risotto, and when I put my nose to the plate, the fish... stank!!! It's not nice, believe me. It'll be a long time before I return to La Riviera.

Dear Owner of La Riviera, you're wrong to doubt the veracity of the report; it's not a gratuitous lie; there are witnesses to what you said. Precisely because I had guests invited by me from out of the area, I preferred not to immediately complain and involve them in a potentially unpleasant discussion, but to keep a low profile. However, I could have done as you suggest: point it out and fix it immediately. But I chose to act as I did; I had my good reasons.
I understand it's unpleasant for you to receive critical reviews, but it's normal for everyone to make mistakes sometimes, and hearing them brought to our attention brings us back to reality. It makes the series of reviews more truthful. Personally, I haven't questioned your seriousness in choosing the ingredients for your dishes—far from it, after all, as I said, I've been to your restaurant several times. I just said that "that time" the dish had an unpleasant odor. Period. I'm not a detractor; I'm a customer who has the right to always be treated the best because he pays what he owes.

We're regulars. It might sound trite to say that it remains my favorite restaurant precisely because we're regulars, but that's true. And there's a reason why! Try it and believe it...
It's because, when all is said and done, when I want meat or fish, I always go to the Riviera... when I want pizza, I always go to the same place... it's easy to understand why we never lose certain good habits!!
Tonight's pizza was nothing short of superb!
We'll continue to be yours, just regulars!
