Abbiamo passato da Kensho la sera di compleanno di mia moglie. Abbiamo trovato un ambiente piacevolissimo, arricchito da un staff di una gentilezza squisita e di ottima competenza, che fanno sentire il cliente come il soggetto al quale dedicare tutta la loro professionalità. Abbiamo seguito tutti i loro consigli e abbiamo avuto una cena di 7 portate tutte ottime e intriganti sia dal punto di vista del gusto che della vista. Abbiamo anche deciso di affidarci al suggerimento di un abbinamento di 3 vini, ma il secondo è stato un ottimo sakè, ovviamente concordandolo con il simpatico sommelier. All’inizio con l’entrate ci è stato offerto l’aperitivo a base di sakè. Che dire… Grazie della bella serata che ci avete fatto passare! Sergio

More smoke than fire. We tried the Omakase menu at €120 per person which started with a raw amberjack with passion fruit at the base placed in too abundant quantities so much so that the taste remained in the mouth until the next course. The rest of the dishes, certainly characterized by a high quality of ingredients, were nothing exceptional or even worth remembering in the future. The service in relation to the bill paid is very low: never once were we served wine. The same goes for water. Furthermore, the tables arranged 50cm apart do not allow privacy and dinner is shared with the next table. In total €150 each with one of the cheapest bottles of wine and, although you come away quite full, it leaves a very bitter taste in your mouth.

The attitude of the staff is respectful, they calmly explain the contents of each dish to you, and the taste of the food is unique. The atmosphere of restaurant is great.

Simply wow. Refined place serving Japanese cuisine. A real gem in the center of Turin. Excellent quality food, very wide choice of wines and well-trained and friendly staff. Some dishes are freshly prepared before your eyes, an experience worth trying.

Dinners at Kensho are real experiences and explorations in Japanese and fusion cuisine (strictly à la carte). The menu is periodically updated in continuous research and experimentation with different raw materials, all of first choice and quality. I have been there several times and they have also added a 7-course tasting menu that can be customized according to your tastes and preferences. A few evenings ago I chose the 5-course tasting menu which never disappoints and of which I have attached some photos. The icing on the cake was certainly the live and on-the-spot preparation of the nigiri dish by the chef, who came to the table asking for our preferences regarding the doses of wasabi and soy sauce. The setting is very elegant and the place is quiet and not noisy at all. The staff is always kind and helpful, as well as being very knowledgeable in recommending and choosing the various dishes and wines. Absolutely recommended.
