How could I not recommend this mountain hut... easy route 1.5 hours at a normal pace 2 hours stopping several times to admire all the beauty of the valley... finally arriving at the last pine trees the view will open up allowing you to glimpse a shirt that smells of history a few meters away... .. mountain hut rebuilt several times by the old manager, father of the current one due to winter avalanches. Large comfortable tables with the possibility of refreshments (actually a full-fledged lunch) managers LIKE IN THE PAST!! Kind people with the hard work and passion of their hosts in their eyes and hands... a family that in a wood-fired kitchen churns out dishes for more than 50/70 people on busy days... and to an even greater surprise, only Anke, the lady, in the kitchen... nowadays in an average restaurant one cook isn't even enough for three customers, and with a professional kitchen... here the wait is obligatory... (a plate of speck, eggs, and potatoes could require a 10/15 minute wait with the hut full at rush hour) but you are on vacation... excellent food, try the burgers (you won't eat anything better)... no bicycles on the woods side due to obvious ‼️ dangers ⚠️... dogs on leashes because chickens and geese roam among the tables... view... needless to say... manager Alfred and his sons are always available... we will return every year!!

A one-of-a-kind mountain hut! Every time I go I feel at home! 5-star service and food, the owners are truly a fantastic family! An unmissable event in the valley! Congratulations, keep it up!

A very beautiful place that we have enjoyed visiting for years. The location and view are beautiful. We love the food on offer and have tried almost everything. The hut owner and his family are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We would love to come back and will be there again in early September and are looking forward to it. UNIQUE AND INIMITABLE: KASERALM My parents stayed at this mountain hut 40 years ago and have never stopped. I went there when I was little, and this year I returned with my friends. It's impossible to think of Val Casies without this mountain hut, the number one mountain hut in Val Casies! The owners are welcoming and provide efficient service. The traditional dishes are extremely generous; to finish, we recommend the hay grappa! Prices are low considering the average for mountain huts, and the quality is excellent (just under €20 per person for two dishes, dessert, and a drink). The strudel is unforgettable!

I was with you many years ago, and reading the news these days has broken my heart. The mountains, and the people who live and work there, don't deserve this. I hope everything gets resolved soon.

Family-run mountain hut, simple (even the food) but authentic. Prices are in line with local mountain huts, and portions are generous. We'll gladly return. Recommended.
