Kandoo In Cremona

Excellent food, but disappointing service. We waited a long time to order, and in the end I had to call the waiter. One dish had almost been forgotten, and it was brought to me at 10:00 PM (we'd sat down at 8:30 PM). The food was really excellent, but I expected something more.

Good experience, but some dishes are a bit expensive and the wait times are long.

Excellent service, especially thanks to the two young staff members, including one with South Asian appearance. The tall bearded man was kind and attentive the entire time. The place is okay, the food is good.

The food was okay, a little pricey perhaps, but the service was excellent. The tall Pakistani waiter with the mustache was especially kind in explaining how to pair the dishes with sauces and was generally very attentive—even though we were clearly a bit of a fish out of water in the atmosphere. A truly excellent restaurant, among the best Japanese restaurants in Cremona. High-quality sushi, incredibly fresh fish, attention to detail, and generally very efficient service. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing, ideal for both a quiet dinner and a special evening. However, I must report some very annoying behavior from one of the waiters, a tall man of Pakistani origin, who was excessively intrusive with customers. In my case, he insisted on asking for my phone number, which was completely inappropriate, and I've heard he behaved similarly with other guests as well. Such behavior is unacceptable in a restaurant of this caliber, and I hope management will intervene. In fact, I've removed one star, even though the restaurant itself deserves five stars for the quality of the food. Aside from this unpleasant incident, the restaurant deserves top marks for its quality and cuisine.

Too much smoke in the dishes, okay once, but don't overdo it! The sashimi and uramaki were excellent. The scallops and teriyaki octopus were average, but the prices were way too high. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A very well-kept and welcoming place, with truly excellent cuisine: well-prepared dishes, balanced flavors, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return. The only criticism about the service: the tall Pakistani waiter with a mustache was a bit too present at the table, almost intrusive, so much so that it was unnerving at times. Furthermore, at the end of the evening he requested extra recognition, a gesture that clashes with the level and refinement of the place. It's a shame about this comment, because the culinary experience itself was truly of great quality.
