Kalapà is a real surprise: Greek cuisine made with taste, passion, and select ingredients. The flavors are intense and true to tradition, but with that extra touch that captivates.
The stuffed potato is simply spectacular: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with crispy bacon and a combination of incredible sauces, including the legendary tzatziki and a creamy gorgonzola sauce—it alone is worth the trip.
Friendly and attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fair price.
A true gem for those looking for something different, but done well.

It's the place my husband and I used to go to when we were engaged 17 years ago. How thrilling to return and see that the delicious stuffed potatoes and the hospitality are unchanged! Plus, the option of sitting at the outdoor tables now makes dining comfortable and enjoyable. I'd suggest one tweak to the atmosphere: instead of the usual summer disco music, how wonderful it would be to listen to classical music while enjoying delicious steamed potatoes!

Very famous Greek, but in my opinion the place doesn't live up to its reputation: the zucchini and eggplant meatballs, as well as the falafel and potatoes are not that great. I had been there many years before and in my opinion the quality has gone down. Nice to be able to sit outside.

A slice of Greece in Rome! Informal place in the heart of Pigneto. Excellent food in a welcoming atmosphere with the guys always ready to explain the dishes for those who do not know Greek cuisine. Quick in preparation with an open kitchen. Possibility of eating both inside and outside. Their method of notifying when the orders are ready is fun...."they shout" from behind the counter the name left at the time of payment! 😂 recommended both for a snack alone and for sharing with groups of friends!

There continues to be this all-day sign (from 12.30 to midnight) but it's not true. It opens at 7pm, but the door remains open to air out the place and rudely chase away customers who know how to read and would like the service displayed at the entrance. For the food I recommend it...even if they are not the only ones. A Greek who is not GREEK in terms of hospitality, welcome and simplicity.
