08/08/2025: Inside the Globo in Busnago, Mondogelato is a small oasis for those seeking proper gelato: creamy, intense, with an assortment of flavors that isn't limited to the usual three "must-have" ones. The quality here is so high that the spoon seems to move on its own, bite after bite, until the cup is empty and you wonder if it's worth another right away. More than just gelato, the café does a fantastic job, with a coffee that tastes like coffee and a cappuccino that deserves more than a distracted sip. It's a shame the croissants, sadly, aren't up to par, a lukewarm shoulder next to two outstanding protagonists. And here we come to the sore point: the service: rushed, impersonal, almost mechanical. At the checkout, you feel like a number in line on a conveyor belt, with the clerk reciting her part as if it were the thousandth order of the day... and it probably is. The location? It's a shopping mall, noisy, dispersive, with a backdrop of footsteps and trolleys, zero atmosphere except for the aroma of pods and coffee. Verdict: If you're looking for the pure pleasure of gelato or a good cappuccino, you're in the right place; just turn a blind eye (or two) to everything else.
