Coffees cost around €2. Pastries are a bit pricey. Quick service, small cafe. Near the Coliseum, other cafes closer by are twice the price and certainly have worse quality.

Coffees are around 1.5 euros, croissants are around 1.5 euros, sandwiches are around 6 euros. Food and drinks are delicious, big and nice.

Wife and I decided that on our last day in each city we'd go back to our favorite place in the city. This was our choice. Outside near the sewer can smell bad.

06/07/2025: I took a beef salad, some chips and a cheesecake, the first one I counted 6 small pieces of meat and a lot of salad, the chips were already cold even though I ate them immediately and the cheesecake was small but at least good, too expensive in relation to the quality.

13/07/2025: I went to Funghetto Matto on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say it was a great choice! The place is small but cozy, with a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service is excellent: Gianluca and Michela are very kind and make you feel right at home. I tried the gricia with truffle and a spectacular carbonara: generous portions and authentic flavors, just what you'd expect from a Roman trattoria. The tagliata was also excellent, perfectly cooked and very tender. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent. A simple but well-kept place, where you eat well and are welcomed with a smile. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty, no-frills dinner. My only advice: make a reservation.
