An exceptional and flawless experience, the chef's talent shines through in every dish we sampled, from appetizer to dessert. A tasting of appetizers with several individual courses, both excellent seafood and meat, paired with top-quality, unexpected ingredients. The first courses featuring freshly caught fish were superb, and to top it all, a lemon tartlet and a dessert with hazelnuts and ricotta were top-notch! The location is a well-maintained ancient palace with a wonderful garden. I recommend booking due to the high attendance.

The seafood dinner was simply exceptional! Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. The food was good and the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the experience wasn't pleasant. During dinner, there was a lot of noise in the dining room, with children screaming. They even played under our chairs, and while we were eating, we were constantly banging on our chairs. The staff, even seeing this, didn't do anything about it. I understand that there may be families, but some minimal supervision is needed to ensure all guests have a peaceful meal. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is worth it, but we weren't able to enjoy our dinner in peace because, honestly, we couldn't wait to leave; you can't eat while constantly banging on your chair. Without some minimal supervision, we'll be unlikely to return.

I was completely thrilled with this small restaurant. The raw fish was exceptionally fresh, the seafood spaghetti was perfectly cooked al dente, and the crusted tuna was a true surprise: tender on the inside, crispy on the outside. Special praise goes to the chef, who conjures up unforgettable dishes from top-notch ingredients. Friendly service and an inviting ambiance rounded off the evening, which I would definitely like to repeat.

A very quaint and pleasant place, with minimalist and elegant decor. The staff is friendly and happy to offer explanations about the menu (meat, fish, pizza, and salads) and a good selection of wines.

Beautiful location in the historic center of Maglie. Elaborate, well-crafted, and refined dishes. It's also a bistro and pizzeria. Definitely worth a try. A word of advice for the service... don't insist on off-menu options if the customer doesn't seem interested. Overall, an absolutely positive experience.

Peccato che lo sforzo dei gestori sia stato orientato, se non altro nella sala interna, a inserire quanti più tavoli possibile, con conseguente scomodità sia del cliente che ogni tanto viene travolto da gente e personale di passaggio, sia del personale stesso, che è in evidente difficoltà nello svolgimento del proprio lavoro. Nel locale, anche per questo motivo, è impossibile scambiare la parola coi commensali o ascoltare cosa propone il personale...complice la tv non si sente nulla! Tuttavia la qualità è ottima, le quantità un po' meno soprattutto dei piatti di pesce. Non mi è piaciuto che il cassiere abbia preso l'iniziativa dell'arrotondamento dell'importo...anche se di pochi centesimi ma sta a me decidere.

Eccellente esperienza qui al Joey. Cena con un’amica, abbiamo degustato l’antipasto mare/terra per due persone e tonno in crosta di frisella delicatissimo. Vino consigliato sapientemente da Catarina e servizio al tavolo ottimo. Lo chef Stefano Marti da 10 e lode
