A must-see if you're passing through Capoliveri. This place has a wide selection of fried food in one of the prettiest and liveliest streets in town. The owner is incredibly friendly, and this is where we ate the best fried calamari ever! Definitely go!

Great experience. He's definitely a character, but polite and pleasant. Excellent food; we really appreciated that we couldn't order octopus and mixed seafood due to the fishing block, and he made sure we didn't have the option instead of offering something that wasn't fresh. Excellent and very light fried food. What a great price; we spent about €45 and had a large fried fish, a calamari, a potato chip, and two drinks. The service was very simple but appreciated and clear. The bathroom was convenient. Perfect location, right in the center of Capoliveri. There are only a few tables and the inside is small, but the food is second-floor.

We had dinner at Johnny Paranza and had a great time! The fried fish was plentiful and delicious. But what really made the difference was the service: the staff was very kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and a welcoming atmosphere!

We came here with the whole family, as my wife and kids are big fans of calamari fritti – and we weren't disappointed! The food was delicious; my personal highlight was the octopus. The street food restaurant opens at 7 p.m., and we arrived shortly afterward and managed to snag a table. Those who arrive later will probably have to wait a bit. With three children, it was cozy at the round table, but it worked out fine. The kids definitely want to go back. Delicious food – and if you like fried fish, this is the place to be. A definite recommendation!

Negli anni è sempre una certezza il fritto è eccellente, devo ancora assaggiare lo spaghetto di Mezzanotte, ma non ci sono dubbi sulla qualità. Inoltre è un pezzo di via Roma, a colpo d' occhio, allegro.

12/10/2025: Searching online for a gluten-free restaurant in Livorno, I contacted the owner, who was very kind and explained to me how they handle gluten-free options. I made a reservation and, upon arrival, was immediately surprised by the variety and large number of gluten-free dishes, including fried foods. We ordered two fried calamari and shrimp dishes, fries, two tiramisu dishes, plus, of course, a drink and side dish, all gluten-free. I must say I was amazed by the quality of the dishes, especially the wide variety of gluten-free desserts to choose from. Really good, the tiramisu was a 10. It's true, the service is pleasant and friendly, but a bit slow, perhaps reflecting the Livorno mentality of "live and let live," but that's part of the experience. If I decide to eat out, I go slowly, so I'm fine with waiting five minutes more. We'll definitely be back.
11/10/2025: Next to the central market, a restaurant with an adjoining takeout area. Some locations abroad. Superior fried food, generous portions. Price absolutely in line. Special mention for the perfectly cut lemon and for the owner, who never loses her smile even in the middle of serving a full room. Top service, simple but attentive.

Un'ottima Annata

11/10/2025: It was a challenge, choosing the right restaurant for our only night in Livorno. We really wanted seafood and narrowed it down to this beautiful little restaurant. The quality of the food was perfect and fresh. I did notice the two lovely ladies on the table next to us had a beautiful ribeye on the bone steak cooked perfectly also. We always ask for the house wine and it did not disappoint. This is a lovely little restaurant With lovely staff. I can highly recommend this for a true simple dining experience.
