A friend's recommendation led us to a bar called Speakeasy. Although it might be slightly overhyped, the concept was quite interesting. The cocktails were delicious, but it was disappointing that they charge an extra 5 Euros for membership. For those not planning to return to Rome, this could be an unnecessary expense. Aside from that, the atmosphere and cocktails were fantastic.

This place was so authentic and such a vibe! Entrance is in an alley way, and the door looks like any other apartment door with a small peep hole (sliding panel). Admittedly, after ringing the doorbell, and someone looking through the peep hole and not letting us in. Our hopes were up. But then we rang one more time, said we had a reservation (which we did, and in full transparency we were 30min late). So don’t blame them for being a little annoyed. But they got us in, and THEY WERE WONDERFUL! It reminded me of the Owen Wilson film “A Midnight in Paris”… stage five nostalgia! No one was on their phones, everyone was gathered around chatting, laughing, music was from the golden era! Our waitress was absolutely hilarious.. I wish I could rate this place 6 stars! This is absolute must on your night scene in Rome!

An incredible bar if you like clandestine places, the staff is very attentive and the cocktails are wonderful, I wanted to come from Madrid for a long time and today I finally had the luxury of being in this great cocktail bar, wonderful!

L' arrivée est plutôt marrante , devant une porte d entrée,il faut donner le mot de passe , Je ne connaissais pas le principe d' un club privé. Après les informations données et l' acquittement de 5 euros , nous commandons les cocktails. L' ambiance est feutrée. On peut fumer à l' intérieur . Les cocktails sont bons, le moment est agréable.

We liked the ambience. The menu was also quite interesting. i had three cocktails. Interesting flavors, but each was too sweet, even after I told them not to make them sweet. Otherwise, it was a good experience.
