Jerry Thomas Speakeasy In Roma

Jerry Thomas Speakeasy is hands down one of the best bars I’ve ever visited. We went twice during our trip to Rome, and it’s the most authentic speakeasy experience you can find. ​Exceptional cocktails (we tasted almost 8 across our two visits and they were all finely crafted, well-balanced, and delicious), a brilliantly curated menu, and a massive selection of spirits (note: they don't serve vodka, as speakeasies back in the Prohibition era didn't either). The vintage atmosphere is spot on, but the real highlight is the incredible hospitality of the staff. Whether you are a barfly or just looking for a quiet, perfect drink, this is a must. If I had to pick only one bar to visit in Rome, this would be it. Now about the price: 15-18€ or maybe more per "signature" cocktail depending on what you order. Classics start from 15€, but truly worth every penny.

Honestly can't praise the place enough. 2 visits and the welcome from the staff, the flavour of the drinks and the overall experience was fantastic. Great place for a relaxing few cocktails. When I return to Rome this will be on my list of stops.

I visited this bar and loved it. It's a Prohibition-style bar with a unique and meticulously curated atmosphere. The cocktails are excellent and the service is impeccable. A fun detail: you can smoke inside, and they serve a delicious focaccia tapa with your drinks. They also charge a €5 membership fee per person, valid for a year. Very beautiful secret bar, where you need a password to get in. The ambience it’s a Prohibitionist 1920’s setting. Drinks are expensive but it worth the price, since the drinks are very good and the service and ambience are great. Smoking is allowed inside. Booking is highly recommended, even during the week. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Beautiful venue, intimate atmosphere, and great service from the staff. Smoking inside is a feature you won't find elsewhere. Perhaps the only downside is the mandatory membership, which is pointless for people who don't have the opportunity to return to Rome.

The best bar experience in Rome..the place is atmospheric, with nice music, amazing cocktails with attention to detail. I want to focus especially on the service. The people are from another planet...I was served by Julia at the bar who was amazing, smiling and impeccable at her job. Gregor also introduced us (I'm not sure if he's the owner). I highly recommend it...you shouldn't leave Rome without visiting it.
