Excellent restaurant! One of the best in Naples. The food is delicious and the staff is very kind. We will visit it again in the future.

Excellent experience, with children I recommend being there at opening time from 7:30 p.m. Great wine list, tasty dishes and affordable prices.

Highly recommended. The best linguine I've ever eaten. Chocolate caprese cake to fly away and to finish an excellent limoncello. Very kind and well-prepared staff. I had a really good time.

Absolutely wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Cannot recommend Januarius enough; definitely our favorite meal in Naples. I only wish we had room for dessert because the menu seemed phenomenal. Very generous portions, so come hungry (it's worth it). Great wine selection. I would come back in a heartbeat.

The miracle for real! After a very hot day spent visiting Naples, what can I say, truly everything was delicious, starting from the appetizers to the main courses and ending with the dessert! Wide choice of wines. Equally excellent was the service, the waiters were kind and very attentive. The place is very particular, welcoming, clean and fresh, 🤩 absolutely recommended 👍🏻 ps try the meloncello 😋

During our stay in a nearby rental apartment in Naples, we were searching for an authentic, freshly prepared pasta meal for our group of four—my wife, son, and his girlfriend. We were incredibly fortunate to discover Januarius, a true gem in the heart of the city. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We enjoyed a delicious array of starters and main courses, all beautifully rooted in local Neapolitan tradition. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing both freshness and regional flavor. To round off the meal, the dessert selection was outstanding—elegant, rich, and perfectly satisfying. We also chose a wine that paired wonderfully with our dishes, and to our delight, it was priced very reasonably. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we truly felt lucky to have stumbled upon such a fantastic place. Januarius gave us a memorable evening full of great food, good company, and genuine Italian hospitality. Highly recommended if you're in Naples and craving a real local dining experience.

The food was delicious and have very high quality produce. Spoke to the owner and he has a great passion for his restaurant. Changing his menus on monthly and not posting his menu online to create a great experience of surprise.

Bellissimo locale proprio di fronte al Duomo. Piatti della tradizione alcuni leggermente rivisitati con cura e grande qualità della materia prima, servizio cortese e preparato, consigli sui vini da una persona molto preparata esperto soprattutto sui vini del sud Italia. Prezzo giusto

Cena stupenda! dall’antipasto (frittini, mozzarella con calamaro) ai primi (pasta e patate incredibile!!!!) ai secondi (baccalà e polpette) senza dimenticare i contorni (questa fantastica scarola e i friarielli) tutto semplicemente eccellente. Ah, come dimenticare il dolce, un babà rivisitato con la crema di mela annurca. Consigliato a tutti. Anche l’ambiente molto accogliente, intimo, ben arredato. Il servizio molto buono, camerieri gentili e simpatici. Se la domenica non fosse stato chiuso, saremmo tornati la sera dopo. Ci è rimasta la voglia di provare tutti i piatti del menu :)
