Classic location. The staff is a bit hectic, but you can sense their commitment and enthusiasm. The all-you-can-eat menu is extensive and well-crafted. The portions are well-balanced. Dishes are expertly executed. Each course is a small work of art in its presentation and flavor. Easily accessible by wheelchair. Parking is a bit difficult, but there's a bus stop less than 50 meters away. I recommend it for lunch with friends or colleagues. Suitable for families and, thanks to the private dining areas, even for sweet company. I've never tried it for dinner in the evening, but judging by the quality of the lunch, I'm optimistic that the dinner will be just as good, if not better.

A well-decorated and elegant Asian fusion restaurant, without claiming to be fancy; the place is clean and offers a variety of options (for dinner, obviously less so for lunch) that are absolutely worth the price. The only flaw: the waiters' service is a bit slow and inefficient, with some orders getting wrong. We've been back: the service is decidedly inconsistent, depending on which waiter you're with. Second edit: they've added some wonderful dishes for dinner!

Top...top...top...the truly extensive evening sushi menu. The Japanese and Chinese cuisine is truly excellent...I highly recommend it, and the view of the hills is truly breathtaking.

Overall good sushi, not among the best, the nigiri rice not very good, waiting times for the dishes incomprehensibly long. Menu to be reviewed: very messy. They welcomed two dogs without too many problems

Izumi is the best restaurant you will find in Bologna, delicious food and impeccable service. I go there when I can and I'm always satisfied with the food I eat.

07/06/2025: In my opinion the best sushi in all of Bologna! Since I discovered it I no longer go to eat it anywhere else. The guys are always very kind and helpful, you can taste the raw material of the sushi that is of quality and the uramaki they prepare are special. They have a huge variety of options and the portions are much larger than average! They also have vegetarian options which I really appreciated. The quality/price ratio is excellent in my opinion for what they offer. It is true that the place is small but you can pick up take-away or choose home delivery which is very convenient. I hope it will reopen soon because it is our favorite sushi restaurant!
27/03/2025: Pedimos sushi y fue una gran decepción porque el arroz estaba algo sobre cocinado y los bocados de sushi eran tan grandes que cuando comes uno tu boca estará demasiado llena. La mayoría del sushi que tenemos no tiene envoltura de sushi. Espero que su sushi lo haga Mejorar y ser más pequeño y no demasiado cocinado! El personal era muy agradable y amable sin embargo! ¡Buena suerte!

12/08/2025: It's improved dramatically over the years, not only in terms of the venue but also in terms of the quality of the food. It's worth a second chance if you haven't been there since the renovations.
09/08/2025: Fine kitchen 😋 Niku Yaki Gyoza very delicious! A bottle of very fine spumante for € 11,00 is unbeatable. And the manager ist just nice and charming. Thanks alot!
