Italo's is an institution in Diano. It makes you feel like you're having Sunday lunch at grandma's: authentic flavors and genuine ingredients. Plus, they're always friendly and helpful. The food isn't the fastest, but the usual catchphrase is "it was worth it." Because if you're not in a hurry and know how to enjoy the conviviality of the table, the wait is worth it. The best, no doubt!

Every time we are in Diano Marina Italo's is a must-stop, quiet atmosphere, very good dishes and normal prices, the gentlemen who run it are helpful and friendly, only flaw.. you have to book in advance.. but it's worth it 👍👍👍👍👍

An amazing experience...
After a chaotic start, 15 minutes of standing around (despite our reservation and empty tables), we were finally able to sit down... 45 minutes where no one noticed us, we almost left... and then finally the owner came (the only one who takes orders!)
We were finally able to order food and drinks. We ordered the meat (filet medallion with pistachios). It was an unforgettable experience. The meat was succulent, as was the sauce. Then the owner became "your friend," you won't leave until he offers you a digestif and chocolate... In the end, we had a good laugh, we enjoyed ourselves, and the experience was quite surreal. The setting too: magnificent, unexpected, and original.

A cozy family Trattoria. A small and tasty meny, good vine and friendly hospitality make this a place worth visiting.
Don't expect a expedient service, but rather a nice talk with the owners and perhaps they'll remember everything you ordered.. 😀

A typical family-run trattoria, with just a few tables and almost always full. The dishes are truly excellent and reasonably priced. The portions are normal, like those of a trattoria. The desserts are highly recommended, all homemade and truly delicious. Service is a bit slow, but considering the small staff, it's more than fine. Italo is truly a friendly guy and will definitely make your evening enjoyable.

We knew it would be a good dinner, but the dishes truly surprised us! The parmigiana was the best we'd ever had, along with the fish stew. The sea bream and mandilli, a Ligurian tradition, were equally memorable! We were also very happy with the service and atmosphere, as the staff was professional yet very friendly. You can tell they're passionate about their work. Definitely check them out :)
