I stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to eat T-bone steak. It seemed to be a popular restaurant for locals. I made a reservation through the The Fork app and ordered a T-bone steak set for two with red wine. They had a 50% discount, so the price was very reasonable. The T-bone steak was tender and delicious, and it was fantastic when sprinkled with salt and pepper. The potatoes that came with it were delicious, savory and sweet. My husband, who was with me, really enjoyed them too. Haha. I ordered the first red wine listed, and it was just right, not too dry. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, and I never felt anxious about making eye contact. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

We went there with 50% discount from the fork ,but they made only 30 % discount . Unfortunately we didn't notice that while we were still at the restaurant . The food I would say is good but not exelent .

To be honest after many days of pasta. To have the bistecca here was a revelation. The food was superb. The service was excellent and the ambiance perfect. This is a lovely restaurant that serves good food. If you want a bistecca. You definitely should try here. We didn’t have other dishes. Just the star attraction. But the starters and deserts were also excellent.

A truly excellent experience! I ate deliciously, and you could immediately taste the quality of the ingredients. The Florentine steak in particular was exceptional: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—a truly top-notch product. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, perfect for enjoying a leisurely dinner. I'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for quality and authentic flavor. A truly excellent experience at Osteria Caffè Italiano in Florence. I had a spectacular Florentine steak, cooked to perfection and of the highest quality.
