Good evening, I'm at the Italian Secret, a fabulous place where our dear waitress Eli welcomed us with a smile and a kind manner. Really recommended for an aperitif with friends.

I've been there twice so far. The first time I had a mixed salad, and the second time I had a medium slice of pizza with tomatoes, mozzarella, and cooked ham. The service was good. They have plenty of tables on the two upper floors and outside overlooking Piazza Matteotti.

The menu is varied and rich, with carefully selected coffees and cocktails. It's a shame about the paper menu; it's visibly worn and perhaps a reprint would benefit. Recommended.

31/12/2025: Good coffee, nothing more; you can easily find better. Service is embarrassing, to say the least. Its only redeeming feature is its location in the square, and that's it.
03/12/2025: A historic café in Udine. It offers excellent coffee and more. It also features refined products from various regions of Italy: nougat, panettone, chocolates, and even pasta.
