The best pub in Genoa without a doubt

Characteristic and historic pub in Genoa. Good sandwiches, great beer. It's rare to find a counter with fifteen taps, each with a different beer. Unfortunately it's a little scruffy and I was met by a waiter who couldn't distinguish a red beer from a dark one.... It doesn't take much and you get 5 stars!

Yes, it's true, there isn't a fireplace here either but in Genoa it is (almost) never this cold and in any case the wood-burning oven makes itself felt. And then it has its "hearths": two giant screens to broadcast sporting matches which make other managers of (magnificent) city pubs turn up their noses but which are perfectly in the spirit of a truly popular public house. And in fact...not a time goes by that you don't find a table with authentic devotees of St. Patrick or King Charles around (or underneath) it (by birth, I mean). They are enough to guarantee the beers. I'm Italian and I do it on pizza. However, no one guarantees its ingredients... All excellent, but don't expect to find exactly what you ordered. In short..."Come for the beer, stay for the craic" Period
