To have some pizzeria bistros near home with this quality. This was the first time I ate in this restaurant in Mezzocammino and both I and the people who dined with me were satisfied.
The place is small but well-kept, there are 4 tables with 4 seats each but it uses an external dehor with entrance directly from the place with many other tables available.
The menu is well structured and does not exceed the number of dishes present, which is already a good sign, few things but done well.
Coming to our choice we started with appetizers called Carbopop and Griciopop, and this was a real surprise. Not that you couldn't tell from the menu what it was but when they arrived we practically devoured them and immediately asked for a second round. Griciopop is a cube of bucatini alla gricia, excellently cooked, wrapped in a dry and crunchy breading. What makes them even better is that bucatini are al dente, which is very difficult to achieve in similar preparations.
Same thing for the Carbopops, perfect frying and the seasoning contained inside the half sleeve makes you feel, enclosed in the crunchy breading, the flavors of a real carbonara. Also in this case, al dente pasta, delicious and delicious, you wish they would never end. All accompanied by a jar of pecorino cream in which to dip these little treasures.
For the sequel we chose 3 pizzas and an off-menu that was proposed to us, pork chops in barbecue sauce accompanied by baked potatoes and a revisitation of the coleslow, a salad based on cabbage which is a classic side dish of American barbecue .
Let's start by saying that the ribs immediately made an excellent impression on us both in terms of appearance and portion size. The meat was very tender, excellently spiced and marinated, leaving a pleasant, slightly sweet aftertaste typical of American barbecue sauces which include the use of cane sugar among their ingredients. The coleslow is an excellent accompaniment with its crunchiness and not least the more local baked potatoes, excellently flavored and cooked.
Coming to the pizzas, I'll start by talking about the dough, very good, meltable, rolled out thin in the center leaving a pronounced edge but without exaggerating. It is also good, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, a real pleasure under the teeth also due to the presence of semolina flour which helps to make it even crunchier.
As far as the condiments are concerned, it is clear that the raw materials are of high quality. On the capricciosa pizza I really liked the flavor of the tomato sauce that accompanied the champignon mushrooms, the olive soil, the ham and the stracciatella. The idea of proposing the fried egg or Bismarck, whatever you prefer, is excellent.
The other type of pizza chosen was a mushroom and sausage, topped with 2 types of mushrooms, porcini and champignons, fior di latte and crumbled sausage. Also in this case the ingredients are very good and can be distinctly perceived when biting.
The service was very courteous and speaking of the prices I would say that they are absolutely in line with what was proposed.

We went to this restaurant/pizzeria on Saturday evening and had a really good time!! Very nice and pleasant place. Typical Roman dishes among these I was able to try the carbonara which was really Top!! Above all the selection of beer which is top level Belgian beers but above all IPA beer from the village which is my favourite!! To return!!
