The roe deer starter was excellent, and the "a bit of everything" appetizer didn't include all the appetizers on the menu, just a few of these for two. The baked rabbit, 4 pieces (a liver, 2 pieces of rib cage with, appropriately, too little meat, and a leg), had too much oil and too much salt for my taste, as did the rosticciana. The homemade bread was delicious; I would have eaten 1 kg of it alone if I could. The price was a bit higher than expected, but overall it's fair enough. The service was always friendly and impeccable. Overall, I would return to try other dishes.

Excellent occasion, especially considering we went for lunch just as we were closing. Delicious food, generous portions, and a beautiful setting. Very friendly. Definitely recommended.

We went here for dinner during Lucca Comics and Games. The dining room was obviously full, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and not at all noisy despite the crowd. We ate really well; the ingredients were of excellent quality and were put to good use by the kitchen. The waiters were friendly, although the only small drawback was the half-hour wait for our order (only one waiter took orders for two dining rooms). This was more than compensated for by the speed with which the kitchen brought out the dishes! For two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, and wine, the total cost was €80. Highly recommended; if we ever return to the area, it will be one of our go-to places! A small personal note for the restaurant owner: the tartare was so high-quality that the cucumbers somewhat overshadowed the flavor of the meat. Personally, it would have been perfect with just the sauce and the excellent capers!

Everything was great, the location and the food were exceptional. I only have one comment or suggestion I'd like to make based on experience, and I hope the management doesn't mind. But if the dining room is empty and a single guest arrives, who is 99% of the time in the area for work—and I think that's understandable—rather than stuffing him between an affectionate couple and a couple of close, slightly noisy friends... maybe it's better to find him a more secluded spot, so he can perhaps make a phone call home or to a friend while he waits.

A lovely lunch in the countryside near Lucca. Delicious Florentine steak, highly recommended.

I'm in love with the chef! I haven't had such a wonderful meal in a long time! Everything was truly delicious. A definite recommendation for anyone staying in the Lucca area!

An exceptional restaurant! Right from the start, we were impressed by their homemade bread with excellent tartar. Then, superbly prepared meat with a delicate smoked flavor. And the dessert was the perfect icing on the cake. Friendly service and a wonderful experience, we will be happy to come back!
