One of the best holidays that we have ever had as a family.Patrizia is an absolutely delightful hostess ;the food was amazing and the villa is perfect.The decoration, quality of bathroom fittings,beds and furniture is top rate without being over the top and one immediately feels relaxed and at home.A haven in the countryside but still easy to visit the tourist spots if you can drag yourself away from paradise

My group of 12 stayed at Villa Vetrichina in May 2024 and had the best time imaginable! Seriously! The villa is perfectly restored in a beautiful location and is impeccably and authentically furnished. The beds were the most comfortable ones we slept on on our three week adventure through Italy. On our first night, Chef Francesco led us through making ravioli, tortellini, sauces, tiramisu, etc. all-the-while serving us excellent wine and appetizers. We were so happy and full! Chef Francesco was so good (and fun!) we hired him to be our chef on four nights at another villa where we stayed nearer Florence. All of the food he made was spectacularly delicious. Besides the cooking class, he made us pizza (wood fired), lasagna, marinated beef, gnocchi, sauces, salads. Too many thing to remember! Our bottom line is that you should add Villa Vetrichina to your travel plans if you can...and schedule a cooking class while you're there! It will be one of your most cherished moments of all time! The road to get there passes through the woods, the sun filters through the branches making the green of the leaves brighter , we met a fawn, in the end the villa... a fairytale house... it remained in my heart... wonderful dinner, family atmosphere... you can breathe serenity, I will return

I gave my boyfriend a cooking lesson with Francesco and Patrizia. It was a very pleasant and fun experience. They prepared a very romantic table in their tavern where we ate what we cooked all together! I recommend it to everybody! The villa surrounded by nature and a top swimming pool! We will be back soon!

This was the best food we have had in the area. Patrizia was a very kind and accommodating host. The rooms are filled with many special touches. Remote and very quiet spot but not too far from the town.
