Breakfast for two with coffee pods, excellent. The cream is delicious. A Sfogliatella and a babà We are a stone's throw from the central Piazza del Plebiscito. Very helpful and friendly waiter. Small indoor bar which boasts a covered outdoor space (we were in February), with a veranda that isn't exactly very hot. Let's say that the fifth star is not given exclusively for this. A door is missing (and would be recommended) so that the humid and crisp air of cold days does not ruin the divine pleasure that is being enjoyed. However, the product is excellent for a "not exactly modest" price (€15 for what I described above) which if nothing else justifies the position. For us promoted, recommended but not with flying colours.

A partire dal nome – "Il vero bar del Professore" – qui si garantisce la qualità del prodotto, ma molti cadono nell’inganno di andare nel locale di fronte dal nome troppo simile e se la perdono: l’omonimia ci sta tutta, non c’è nulla di cui scandalizzarsi, ma se si sbaglia il bar, poi non bisogna lamentarsi della qualità non eccelsa della controparte. Certamente a "Il vero bar del Professore" non si può venire pensando di poter fare con calma una bella e sostanziosa colazione, qui la parola d’ordine è bersi un caffè preparato ad arte nei tempi (brevi) e nei modi (in piedi davanti al bancone) giusti: nonostante ben tre barman lavorino senza sosta e in perfetta sincronia davanti alla macchina dell’espresso, il caos regna sovrano e la calca della folla non fa gridare di gioia...ma queste sono le regole. Come cantava il grande (e compianto) Pino Daniela...‘na tazzulella ‘e cafè...

I went to the Bar del Professore in Naples with great expectations, attracted by the fame of the place and the desire to surprise my partner, a professor. Unfortunately, the experience proved disappointing. After choosing a cup of coffee to give as a gift, packaged slowly and with little attention to detail, I discovered, once home, that the saucer and the cup were different colours. Furthermore, the coffee served at the bar, surprisingly in a small plastic cup, was not up to the renowned Neapolitan tradition. A visit that leaves a bad taste in the mouth, more attentive to profit than to quality and respect for customer expectations. You see Naples and then die... of bitter laughter!

Personally I only had a coffee, I can say The best in Naples. Worth going and tasting it at least once.

It's the best, we had breakfast every day and we were never disappointed... The puff pastry is really good... The hazelnut coffee is truly delicious...

Locale rinomato ma che forse vive oramai di rendita. Ottima la crema caffè, il caffè espresso buono ma non fa gridare al miracolo. Personale palesemente colto da noia e fastidio, non mancando di trasmettere tali sensazioni agli avventori. Prezzi turistici.
