Only one location! Be wary of Maps, which suggests another location or those with a similar name; this is the one and only (there's even a sign inside).
We tried the hazelnut coffee after waiting about 10 minutes. It was good, nothing incredible, but good, and it's definitely a pleasure to partake in what is truly a city institution.
A must-try.

The nocciolato is excellent.....but you expect that if you order a bottle of water at the table and pay 3 euros for a liter of water, they won't give you plastic cups.

You can't go to Piazza Plebiscito and not have the professor's coffee. It's something unique.

It's not the real Caffè del Professore; you have to go across the street to the historic café. The young waiter, of foreign origin, is kind, but the "manager" is unpleasant, rude, and impolite. If you want a coffee and an experience that leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, this is the place to be.

This Café del Professore is very good. Perhaps the best in Naples. You have to order at the bar (and be tempted by the tenth baba of the day) or agree to pay a (little) more on the tiny terrace, which is, in fact, very pleasant because it's isolated from the traffic. Go there at the end of the evening and watch Naples live, that is to say, honking, arguing for real, waving your arms while two policemen strut on the zebra in the middle of the square.

Il Vero Bar del Professore in Naples is a true institution. I tried their famous hazelnut coffee and it was an unforgettable experience: creamy, enveloping, and with a lingering, authentic hazelnut flavor. One of a kind! The place is small and always crowded, but that's part of its charm. If you're in Naples, you can't miss stopping by to try this delicacy.

Un bar che fa un molto buono il locale un po' piccolo ma per un caffè volante va bene.
Purtroppo tiene degli operatori molto arroganti e poco cortesi verso la clientela.
