I went to dinner with my family without any reservation because we were passing through. It was worth it... the Veliero starter was excellent, varied and for all tastes. We had two first courses and two second courses of seafood, all very good. I highly recommend and would happily return 👍🏻

We had dinner at this place on a weekday in late July. Without a reservation we still managed to sit around 9pm on the terrace overlooking the sea. There were 5 of us and we had two home-made appetizers, a plate of tomato orecchiette, a plate of seafood cavateli and two fried dishes (squid, prawns and paranza), a portion of chips, two bottles of water and two beers , spending a total of €103. The price is average considering the high season but also the spartan location and the slightly retro interior furnishings. A beautiful terrace overlooking the sea greatly raises the rating of the structure, tables a little too close together but a familiar atmosphere, a decidedly maritime style and a magical atmosphere thanks above all to the view and the background of the waves. Medium-high quality of fish products. The starter was good although for €28 I would have expected slightly more generous portions given that we are in Puglia. Excellent starters include the fried food (meat balls and home-made potato croquettes) and the tiella (Carnaroli rice
, potatoes and black mussels cooked in the oven). Both first courses were excellent. The fries are also good, quite dry and crunchy. Here too I would have increased the portion slightly, to bring it into line with the price of the dish. The service is fast but a little confusing with a clear predilection for large tables or large orders. I don't like to see inequalities in the treatment of customers linked to how much they spend. The real sore point is the price of the pizzas, €9 for the cheapest (the margherita). €14 for a capricciosa seemed a bit excessive to me given the immense mark-up resulting from the pizzeria to restaurateurs. We also avoided taking them because we noticed that it was the dish with the least success even at the neighboring tables. They make a thin and apparently well seasoned pizza. I can't comment on the flavor because we didn't order any. Despite this pleasant evening. Recommended restaurant.

Beautiful location, unfortunately not having booked we were not towards the sea, but towards the houses. The multi-course starter wasn't that great organoleptically speaking. The fried food and the scialatelli are good. The service left something to be desired. Nice, but I wouldn't go back

Although dated and has few dishes on the menu, it does not disappoint.
Enchanting view, kindness of the staff and traditional cuisine with good fish and more.
Pizza not bad, needs improvement.
In the morning we drank coffee here because at the "Il faro" beach, where we had sunbeds and umbrellas, they weren't friendly and charged more if you drank it sitting down.
