The restaurant has been renovated and is very welcoming, as are the staff and service. I had the pizza and I have to say it was truly delicious! The parking lot is spacious and, above all, organized and tidy. The only problem is that it lacks a bright, visible sign from the street for those arriving in the evening, perhaps in the slightly foggy weather typical of the area.

Excellent venue, excellent service, excellent food.
We choose the Veliero when we want to eat good fish.
I recommend the fried fish: not at all greasy and sublimely crispy.
The new management hasn't completely transformed the venue, but they've improved an already excellent restaurant.
I really liked that the 18-lune grappa was poured directly at my table.

Il Veliero is a restaurant/pizzeria offering takeout. We had the pizza and I must say we enjoyed it; it was tasty and not at all heavy. The staff was helpful and friendly. When I booked, I mentioned that we had a 2-year-old with us, and they provided her with a high chair and a cartoon character glass at her reserved seat. I thought it was a very nice touch. Thank you so much. The seafood risotto is delicious, as is the spaghetti with clams and the mixed fried food! The restaurant has a dining room and a large lounge suitable for group lunches/dinners and special occasions. They also offer a summer terrace in the summer. There is ample parking outside.

Fried calamari, shrimp, and vegetables for two, exceptional! The flour coating is crispy, it's dry when piping hot, and not even the yellow paper underneath gets greasy. Perfect.
It's a shame that when you leave this place, which I've been frequenting for a while now, your clothes always smell of fried food... they should do something about it!
