IL Vecchio Borgo In Castel madama

A small family-run restaurant with excellent homemade pasta, we had Tonnarella and porcini mushrooms which were really very good. The house wine in bulk is appreciable, the service was excellent and even if you shouldn't expect anything special it is a place worth visiting if you want to have a lunch or dinner eating genuine things without spending a lot. Highly recommended

But what a beautiful discovery at Castel Madama! We stayed in this delightful village and had dinner here 2 evenings in a row. The supplì are delicious, the pasta is homemade and the cacio e pepe and amatriciana are superb (unfortunately we only tried those but if I could I would have tried everything). Very kind staff, family management that does everything to serve the best traditional Roman cuisine. It's a shame not to have them in Turin ❤️

Found through TripAdvisor I have to compliment you on the courtesy, smile and service. We took three light menus (less than 20 euros) first course of your choice second course side dish water and coffee, all good generous portions well cooked. Really excellent quality homemade pasta!!!!!! Truly exceptional food quality and price ratio!!! We will be back for sure
