Passing through Syracuse, I was looking for a quick dinner. I was delighted by the Siracusan breadcrumbs prepared by Il Trancio and the friendly staff. The menu is extensive, catering to all budgets and appetites. I'm sure it's very popular in the area. In the few minutes I was there, I also noticed a good deal of laughter over the food delivery service. It's definitely a must-visit for foodies and those looking to spend an evening with friends enjoying a delicious meal.

We were looking for somewhere away from the chaos of Ortigia and stumbled upon this place. We ordered the €15 aperitif pizza, which is ample to say the least. We ate a lot. The pizza was truly delicious. The owners were very kind; the pizza chef even stopped by our table to introduce himself. I highly recommend it.

I discovered this place by chance, having to park in Piazza Adda due to the Greek Theater parking lot being too full... And like all accidental discoveries, it turned out to be a great satisfaction!
Even though the concert ended after closing time, we found it still open and very welcoming. We thought we'd have to settle for the pizza slices already prepared at the counter, but the staff warmly encouraged us to choose something else, no problem.
So, sitting at our table, we saw a fabulous selection of pizzas on the menu, some quite unusual compared to the "usual" ones, and when we ordered from the very kind waitress, we also discovered that they had several different doughs available, which we were thrilled to try.
After a short wait, some excellent pizzas arrived! Delicious dough, richly topped with visibly top-quality ingredients... We truly enjoyed a wonderful dinner, even at that late hour and unexpectedly...
Thanks to the staff, especially the pizza chef, who shared some of his training experience with us, which we greatly appreciated, as well as his obvious passion and desire to experiment to always offer the best.
We truly wish you all the best, and we hope to stop by again next time we're in Syracuse!
