We went to Santo Stefano al Mare, a town between Sanremo and Imperia. In the evening, we went to dinner with friends at the TORRIONE restaurant, a quaint, panoramic restaurant. We entered and were greeted by the very friendly owner and a gigantic grill full of fish cooking! The first and second courses were excellent; the fish was fabulous! The waiters were good at cleaning them. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. The owner was superb. We'll be back.

Beautiful restaurant right up on the hills in the Imperia region. We celebrated my birthday here. Definitely a must stop restaurant on your way through Italy.

We'd been there several times before, but we hadn't been in 4 years... and I have to say, things haven't changed. Unlike many places where prices have skyrocketed over time, at Torrione you eat well and you spend a fair amount. I recommend eating the meat! Keep it up!!
