A wonderful evening in an excellent osteria. We ate excellent quality meat, from the tagliata to the mixed cuts, all cooked to perfection. The first courses were also of high quality. The pasta and potatoes with provola cheese were delicious. Homemade bread, and the pizza was equally delicious. I recommend making a reservation. You can eat inside or outside. Excellent service, and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

We savored truly worthy regional specialties. The portions were generous (much to the delight of the two teenagers I was with...); the staff were cheerful, kind, and friendly. Our first vacation in Campania got off to a fantastic start! Gluten-free products available. Highly recommended.

We went to the "Tormentone" last night with a native friend of ours, a fine gourmet, and I must say that, as often happens with him, the experience was fantastic: excellent food produced with excellent raw materials, kindness and professionalism on the part of the dining room staff, prices that we Northerners, and especially we Ligurians, only imagine in our wildest dreams and really pleasant local house wine (Gragnano) (and the writer is a very boring and fussy sommelier). Congratulations Guaglia!

Siamo stati al "Tormentone" ieri sera con un nostro amico autoctono, fine buongustaio, e devo dire che, come spesso accade con lui, l'esperienza è stata fantastica: ottimo cibo prodotto con materie prime eccellenti , gentilezza e professionalità da parte del personale di sala, prezzi che noi del Nord, e specialmente noi liguri immaginiamo solo nei nostri sogni più belli e vino della casa locale (Gragnano) davvero piacevole (e chi scrive è una noiosissima e pignolissima sommelier). Complimenti guagliò!

Locale un po discreto a vederlo da fuori Una volta entrati ti senti veramente a casa rustico ma soprattutto ordinato e pulito sia in sala che in cucina ....

02/05/2025: Pur avendo affidato i fornelli ad un nuovo chef il risultato finale non cambia, confermandosi senza album dubbio tra i migliori riformanti in zona costiere amalfitana La location, situata lungo il suggestivo corso centrale, al suo interno si conferme nella sua semplicità molto elegante ed i colori rievocano quelli del mare della costiera Il perdonale di sala é molto cordiale, garbato , onnipresente giammai invadente La qualità del pescato utilizzato si conferma di primissima fascia Le proposte di chef Tullio sono il frutto di un equilibrato mix tra cucina francese e della tradizione marinara locale Sublimi i paccheri con pesce coccio ed arancia e la torte di mele. Molto buono il baccalà in tempere e la pizza fritta Lasciatevi consigliare da Salvatore e Mino vi prenderanno per mano e vi accompagneranno nei vari percorsi che propone la cucina
13/03/2025: Nice place in the center of Cava dei Tirreni. The ambience is very nice and the background playlist is beautiful. Excellent selection of raw dishes although for personal taste I would have liked them less cold, the fried pizza with stracciatella and chopped red prawns was very good. The main dish is tagliolino cacio e pepe with red prawn tartare. However, the bruschetta with sea urchin is avoidable if compared to the price. Prices generally high but all in all promoted.

Genuini Cilento

02/10/2025: We arrived at 2:30 PM on a Wednesday in October, and the restaurant was already closed. We knocked, and the owner opened the door. She was a kind woman who explained that her husband (the chef) had closed the kitchen to go into the fields to prepare the olives for the harvest. We were about to leave, but she insisted we sit down, offering us a roast. Finally, she called her son, who generously took over the chef's role and let us eat in peace. We greatly appreciated not only the good food, but above all the genuine hospitality, characterized by simple and sincere attention, just like in times gone by. A place with a rustic feel, with old-fashioned connections. An experience that will remain in your heart.
21/08/2025: The appetizers are delicious and the tiramisu is fantastic. The service is fast and the staff is very kind.
