I had dinner with my partner in this place, which is located in one of the streets in the center of Abbiategrasso. When we entered we immediately felt a familiar and at the same time well-kept environment. The menu with a few dishes that brings together a bit of everything with refinement and simplicity. A very pleasant thing, which has been lost in slightly more refined restaurants, the house entree. The food was very good, we took the cut of meat and it was cooked rare and very well done and tasty. Sophisticated desserts, good to eat and beautiful to look at. The wine list offers a selection of reds spanning regions ranging from north to south. Friendly service, right attention to the customer. The refined and very pleasant environment with jazz music in the background. If you want to spend a romantic evening or with friends in a convivial place, the Taverna del Torchio is the right place.

Very beautiful and particular environment, some things need improvement, but the strong point is the ability and humility to accept reports from the customer. At the time of the bill they were asked how it had gone and saying not very well they wanted to know better the reason and information was given. Personally, once I left the table I would have said never again, but seeing the seriousness and professionalism in listening to the advice and feelings I will go back.
