Polite and helpful staff, excellent location with a lake view terrace, generous portions. The only drawback is the limited choice on the menu and the cleanliness of the place, which could be better... but keep in mind that I'm a picky eater... affordable price.

I was there on Saturday, August 9th, with my partner, daughter, and our two dogs. The place is simple but welcoming. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and courteous, and the local cuisine is delicious. I'll be back and recommend it.

We visited this restaurant on Ferragosto (August 15th) with my partner and son. It was a very positive experience, with abundant, high-quality food. It's clear they're passionate about their work. The service, considering it was Ferragosto (August 15th) and the restaurant was packed, was satisfactory, fast, and attentive. The restaurant is a journey back in time, in that the restaurant's interior is 1980s-style, but it appears this management has only recently taken over. I hope they get a chance to work and renovate it.
Finally, everyone was very kind and courteous. If I'm ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

Interesting location with a lakeside terrace when available and a wood-paneled interior for the colder seasons. Attentive and knowledgeable staff.

I'll start with the positive note, which is definitely the food: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, everything delicious, just the right amount, and a fair value. I also appreciated the spacing between the tables, which allows for privacy and the ability to move around freely. There's a truly lovely outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The wait time from start to finish was a big minus, but I must say they apologized and were very kind, explaining they hadn't expected that amount of work. I've also read reviews that mentioned it's under new management, so I'll definitely return, hoping to significantly reduce the wait time. Otherwise, keep up the good work! Good luck! 🍀

We had a wonderful meal. The staff was polite and always smiling. This is our first time back at Tasso since it changed management, and we were very pleased. The food was good and fresh, especially the zucchini parmigiana. I'll be back to eat at Tasso very soon.

Under its new management, Trattoria Il Tasso has transformed into a true paradise for those who love authentic cuisine and a warm welcome. The quality of the dishes, crafted with flavors that reflect tradition and passion, is evident and satisfying.
Don't miss the paccheri alla caprese, balanced and fresh. The mixed roast is a triumph of perfectly cooked meats, accompanied by a side of potatoes that to call exquisite is an understatement.
And then, how can we forget the antipasto...world-class!! The coratella and panzanella are the standouts, served with excellent homemade bread to complement these two delicacies.
A true tribute to the ancient flavors of Lazio cuisine, and in particular of Castel di Tora!
The new owners have brought a breath of fresh air without betraying the roots of the historic trattoria.
