Il Sentiero In Acquapendente

Our stay was okay. Not bad but definitely not what we expected. We stayed two nights (as part of our walk along the Via Francigena) and I would not stay here again. Our room and bed were nice. Dinner was good but not great and it took forever (30+ minutes between 1st and 2nd course) and all our food was warm but not hot. The breakfast had a lot of pastries, store-bought yogurt, some soft apples and not much else - not even eggs or granola (I question the whole zero-kilometer food concept they promote). Overall, we didn’t really feel much warm hospitality- we honestly did not even get a “welcome” when we arrived or a “thank you” when we paid. (Although the young lady who did breakfast was very friendly). If you stay, I would avoid the meal options. As a pilgrim walking the VF, it’s not worth the extra kilometers.

Beautiful, quiet property surrounded by greenery. Thanks to the hospitality of the entire family, you feel right at home. Excellent breakfast with homemade cakes, pies, and much more. Ditto for dinner. Everything was delicious, including locally sourced vegetables. Comfortable and welcoming rooms. Beautiful view and lovely pool. Thank you. We always love to return.

A beautiful farmhouse surrounded by greenery and absolute tranquility. A great location for those looking to unwind for a weekend. The food is good, and the owners are kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit dated. Better maintenance of the pool area is desirable.

We had a wonderful time. The cleanliness was top notch. A wonderful atmosphere of tranquility and conviviality reigned. The dinners and breakfasts were spectacular, from appetizers to dessert. Everything was homemade. We will remember them. Best regards to Marco and his family and staff.

Breakfast was a bit empty, I would add fresh croissants and brioches and the savoury corner, everything else was excellent

We had the pleasure of staying in this place surrounded by nature, despite being close to the town center and accessible via an easily accessible path. The room was comfortable and clean, overlooking the valley. The well-maintained pool had comfortable beds and a surrounding lawn. The cuisine was traditional, using genuine, quality products. Excellent organic wines. Good value. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was greatly appreciated. Thank you. See you soon.

We stayed here for three days with a group of friends, cordiality and attention from the owners. Surrounded by greenery in a quiet and welcoming environment also enriched by a splendid swimming pool, the structure is located a stone's throw from Acquapendente, an excellent reference point for visiting the wonderful Tuscia. Highly recommended.
