Having booked very little in advance, they placed us on the outdoor terrace, which is still nice, despite facing the street. The homemade bread and focaccia that accompanied both our starter and the sauce for the first courses were excellent. We took the mixed starter to share (meatballs with sauce, pea and melted pecorino pie, magatello and caponata), very good with a special mention for the meatballs and magatello (really excellent). First we had the borage ravioli with cabannina ragù, which were also excellent.

Su consiglio di amici a santa Margherita siamo saliti a San Lorenzo che oltre ad una bella vista ospita questo ottimo ristorante. L'accoglienza informale del titolari mi ha messo subito a mio agio . La passione e la precisione con cui ci ha illustrato il menu denota un amore per ciò che fanno . Carne di qualità cotta alla perfezione e contorni abbondanti. Scelta di vini per tutte le tasche e vasta gamma di dessert. Un posto che consiglio e in cui tornerò sicuramente prima della fine della mia trasferta.

Location carina ,parcheggio adiacente. Tavoli interni ed esterni. Personale gentile. Menù e carta dei vini un pochino scarsa. Speravo ci fosse più varietà di carne. Piatti soddisfacenti e non abbondanti. Nel complesso voto 7 su 10.

25/05/2025: In the heart of the historic center of Genoa, an oasis of unmissable Sicilian flavors!! All homemade prepared at the moment. Excellent arancini, as well as gnocchi with swordfish, aubergines and almonds. The desserts are amazing...my favorite is the warm ricotta and chocolate cake. Well done👏👏
13/05/2025: I was a regular when it opened, with her little boy who wandered around the tables and she who alternated between the kitchen and the dining room, then I didn't go back for years, until the other night. I found the excellent Sicilian cuisine with arancini and cavatieddi better than I remembered. Cassata and almond paste sweets to finish, so delicious. I spent 50 euros for two drinks included. What more could you want? I was pleased to see the place renovated with tables and furnishings more welcoming than I remembered and a dining room girl who was attentive and kind. And then Mrs. Antonietta really works hard in there. Reward her and go and try her delicious dishes!
