Excellent wine shop, lovely welcome, and I ate elephant ear, which you can't find anywhere else anymore.

I went for a birthday meal in November, filled with locals it is not a tourist type restaurant. The food was fantastic we shared a very large steak, on the table next to us they had bone marrow straight from the bone. The chef's know their way around meat. I had a great time, there was even an entertainer singing Italian classics. It was dark and in late November when we went so there wasn't much of a view to take in, but given it's prominence on a hillside I expect on lighter evenings that it has a tremendous view and some outside seating. I highly recommend, it is a little pricey but as the food was excellent I think the cost is justified. I have no problem in recommending it

I ate an excellent and very tender Florentine steak. The owner and the staff are very kind. I highly recommend it.

The lady owner is a force of nature, sharp, generous, and utterly in charge. With no tables free, she pulled one from the back, dressed it on the spot, and welcomed us like old friends. That kind of spirit sets the tone. The food was excellent: bold, honest, and clearly made with care. No shortcuts, just real cooking. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Though our Italian was limited, the staff were gracious and patient. It felt less like dining out, more like being invited into someone’s home. The place was full, the mood joyful, and the energy unmistakably local. A restaurant that runs on heart, not hype.
