If you find yourself near Santa Margherita, going to Franco's for meat is more than a given... it's a must. Delicious appetizers and truly remarkable quality meat. A good wine list, including a few "missiles" if you like strong reds.

Having booked very little in advance, they placed us on the outdoor terrace, which is still nice, despite facing the street. The homemade bread and focaccia that accompanied both our starter and the sauce for the first courses were excellent. We took the mixed starter to share (meatballs with sauce, pea and melted pecorino pie, magatello and caponata), very good with a special mention for the meatballs and magatello (really excellent). First we had the borage ravioli with cabannina ragù, which were also excellent.

Su consiglio di amici a santa Margherita siamo saliti a San Lorenzo che oltre ad una bella vista ospita questo ottimo ristorante. L'accoglienza informale del titolari mi ha messo subito a mio agio . La passione e la precisione con cui ci ha illustrato il menu denota un amore per ciò che fanno . Carne di qualità cotta alla perfezione e contorni abbondanti. Scelta di vini per tutte le tasche e vasta gamma di dessert. Un posto che consiglio e in cui tornerò sicuramente prima della fine della mia trasferta.

21/07/2025: Authentic and wonderful Italian pizza, I've been there 3 times and will continue to go. You can eat there and the pizza is freshly made in a wood-fired oven.

We ate very well: generous dishes, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients. The cuisine is authentic, home-style, and captivates you from the first bite. Each course was tasty and beautifully presented, perfect for those seeking authentic, unfussy flavors. The service was impeccable: a warm welcome, friendly and always helpful staff, ready to offer advice with a smile. We immediately felt at ease, right at home. Another plus is undoubtedly the excellent value for money. You eat well, you spend the right amount, and you leave satisfied. In short, Trattoria Panda is a little gem on the outskirts of Genoa. We recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!
07/09/2025: We went there tonight with a couple of friends. We had a really good meal for a reasonable price. Massimo and Alessandra are very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We also ordered two dishes off the menu, which were very generous and delicious, no problem. Plus, they offered four complimentary liqueurs. Highly recommended.
