Bel ristorantino a conduzione familiare, difficilissimo trovare posto a sedere di sera ammenoché non si abbia prenotato con il dovuto anticipo. Menù corto e prezzi molto interessanti, questa la loro forza. Consigliatissimo.

At first glance it might seem like a tourist restaurant since it's right on Via Roma, but the food is really good, tasty and fresh fish and the price is average!

Family-run restaurant, run by Caterina (a true Sicilian and super kind). The dishes offered are limited but truly exceptional... when you taste them, you can taste the love and passion. Despite being right in the center, you can still relax and enjoy your dinner. We ordered the caponata, the marinated anchovies, the TOP spaghetti with clams, and the TOP tuna steak. Go there!!!!! ♥️

Truly excellent. We ate 6 delicious first courses and 6 sublime desserts. The staff were extremely kind and friendly. The price was very fair. We weren't satisfied, so we returned after 3 days. The caponata and cheese selection were all delicious. Then I had the fried calamari... pure poetry. We've never eaten calamari so tender and delicate.

16/07/2025: The best pasta during our stay on the island. We ordered the almond, orange, and red shrimp pasta, and the squid ink pasta. A dream!

20/07/2025: We dined at Sal8 and I was delighted with the welcome and hospitality of the staff. The food is divinely good, the staff attentive and French-speaking, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I recommend it without reservation. Bravo to the entire team.
19/07/2025: It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Exceptional dishes with indescribable flavors. Excellent service: attentive, but never intrusive. The welcome glass of wine was much appreciated. The appetizer, in my opinion, captured the original essence of this restaurant: intriguing combinations, sensational textures, and flavors you can't understand until you try them. We live in Lombardy, but we hope to be able to return specifically to eat at this special place once again. Congratulations and thank you for everything.
