Culinarily speaking, the food is quite refined. The menu offers few choices. The location, the wine, the snails bourguignonne, the beetroot gnocchi in parmesan cream were delicacies. All between a divine Patty Pravo who comes out in the background from the speakers between two rooms (for about ten people each... one of which with a fireplace/grill) surmounted by ancient vaults in red bricks... Paolo who has been giving life to this reality since 2003 with merit, and all his dedication towards customers and quality; but last but not least the meticulousness with which he cooks the grilled meat on the fireplace in the dining room👏👏👏👏. (P.S. next to a great man there is always a great woman: his fantastic wife!!!!! ...who this evening, in an extraordinary way, supported him. And the chef Roberto in the kitchen who, in perfect synergy , it would surprise anyone. As you might expect, the cost is above average. Difficult to find parking.

The maximum number of stars for a small restaurant, of a beauty capable of making you relive the architecture of the 19th century buildings. Sublime cuisine and low prices in proportion to the highest level of quality. I recommend the meats and the herb risotto, sublime. The wines are also excellent.

In nomen omen! 🤏🏻 Narrow and modest but not in prices! 🤷🏼‍♂️ Starter: wagyu pâté indistinguishable from any other meat pâté, with a slice of toasted bread and caramelized onions. Balance does not exist, what prevailed was the cloying of the sweet onions and the homogenized pâté which totally saturated the taste buds after the third forkful. Plate left half done... terrible! 🤦🏼‍♂️ The second course was good: lamb chops cooked to perfection, guaranteed taste, satisfying consistency! 👌🏼 Sweet but savory: I opted for simple stewed chestnuts since the list was mostly ice cream, which I struggle to eat in winter. You pay €8 like any other prepared dessert on that dessert list! 🤌🏻😡 Mocha coffee: 6.5 - Service: slow and elusive 😪 - Ambience: nice rustic interior, nice fireplace corner, uncomfortable flat wooden chairs, without a cushion! - Parking: really difficult to find given the area close to the centre, you will probably have to walk before and after... - Price: high considering the overall quality 💰 💸 It could be better during the week if the restaurant is half empty, otherwise claustrophobic and crowded!

A place steeped in tradition and hospitality. Competence and courtesy are at home here, the dishes are taken care of down to the smallest detail and served to perfection.

In an era where everyone tries to amaze with special effects but with truly disappointing results, here is a restaurant with two square balls. Few things, refined and cooked in a simple way without too many frills, where at the base there is refinement and quality. Here you eat well and at the right price too! Excellent snails, excellent cheese fondue (I don't remember the name). Excellent grilled meat... And a 90 minute risotto. Applause! Another thing that I really appreciated was the honesty of the wine list where I found the value for money much more than satisfactory. Professional but at the same time light service. In the dining room they know how to advise and be kind and approachable. If I have to find a flaw...I just have to go back to eat at their place because at the moment there aren't any. Compliments!

Not all restaurants gives the home feeling, coziness, etc. This one does with big smile from the staff.. Not mentioning the delicious food too

Excellent food and not to be taken for granted, the selection of cheeses is also highly recommended. Welcoming, helpful and attentive service! Warm environment, exposed stone and brick walls with a large vault. A very pleasant discovery, I can't wait to go back!

Too traditional, double portions served together. Excellent bread, meat presented hot but not exceptional. Quality-price spot on
