Once upon a time tavern. Management and family environment. Dishes of the day and excellent. If you are not looking for an elite place with excessive built refinements, this is definitely the perfect solution

Let's start from the positive sides: welcoming and rustic environment, with wooden tables and benches, menu on the blackboard and paper placemats, nice! The place is halfway between my grandmother's house and the old taverns where we ate like family ♡. The staff were a little unorganised, but extremely courteous although we had to change the order and then an unexpected side dish arrived. For me this is not negative, in fact it is a symptom of home cooking done at the moment ♡. Prices: starters around €10, first courses around €12/15 and second courses €15/18 which mean nothing if you don't evaluate the following factors: quality and quantity. Now I have nothing to say about the quality, the cold cuts were good without excelling. Ditto for the omelette, the meatballs and the Russian salad, well it's boiled vegetables with mayonnaise or sour cream so... the mashed potatoes are lukewarm but good, the lentils too al dente but my choice as I love them mushy, the cotechino is good and also the 'absolute. Too bad about the quantities: the ossubuco at 18 euros was as big as the palm of the hand, without fingers, including bone, literally 4 small pieces. 16 euros for cotechino with 4 slices as big as the circle that the index finger joins the thumb, less than a cm high. Two soup spoons with the puree and two with lentils. Ditto for the starters... a slice and a half of raw meat, 2 slices of salami as thin as tissue paper, a slice and a half of coppa and one of bacon for 10 euros. Same price for two size meatballs, two pieces of omelette as long as my thumb and 3 tablespoons of Russian salad. The food was good but the portions were poor. Sin.

Absolutely perfect! The setting is incredible, as is the welcome and the dishes we tasted. We had the right to exchanges in impeccable French. We will come back with great pleasure.
