I confirm the previous review when the place was managed by Tonino. Andrea and his brother-in-law have been able to maintain the good name of the restaurant by offering expertly cooked fresh fish. Everything was excellent from starters to dessert. We will be back! Super recommended

This restaurant, located in the historic center of Campobasso, is a good compromise for tasting seafood dishes: excellent service and good quality dishes. It's a shame however for the quantity of food in relation to the prices charged and the hospitality of the management, which pays little attention to customer loyalty.

The new management is not comparable with the previous one. Hopefully the value for money will improve at the lowest price. The city needs places specialized in serving fish-based foods.

Historic restaurant in Campobasso but for me it was the first time. The cold and hot appetizers are excellent, the peppered mussels are a little small but good in taste, the first courses are good, the frying is light. Staff in the restaurant: a polite and kind waiter and the cook. Price in line with other fish restaurants but not cheap.

Always fresh catch. Warm atmosphere and very good service. Variety of wines and dishes with their original touch. Classic Campobasso place that renewed its administration. At the height of tradition with a young and distinguished touch.

Ci siamo fermati per cena in questo ristorante sapendo della nuova gestione . Abbiamo visto le recensioni negative ma evidentemente chi dice che la qualità è scarsa ne capisce ben poco di pesce o semplicemente è abituato al congelato . Detto questo , noi abbiamo trovato del personale giovane , gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta . Piatti gustosi nella loro semplicità e questo per me è cucinare con amore . Torneremo senza dubbio. Forza ragazzi 😁

New management of the historic fish restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Campobasso, the il potestà restaurant managed by chef Michele originally from Termoli, he knows well how to cook fish. We ate first choice raw fish, fresh and delicious. Selected, quality raw materials. Absolutely recommended to try. We will happily return to chef Michele. The home made dessert made by the chef's frist lady was also excellent. Until next time

19/04/2025: Sono stupita dalle recensioni negative perché noi ci siamo trovati molto bene, forse per la media locale qui i prezzi sono un po’ più alti ma per quanto riguarda il cibo e la cortesia del personale dobbiamo dire che sono stati deliziosi. Ci hanno accolto alle 14:30, che da noi al nord non ti fanno neanche un panino, invece un pranzetto degno di nota. Magari hanno cambiato gestione, perché anche la tavolata vicino a noi era soddisfatta. Io ci tornerei volentieri!
14/12/2024: Tutte le recensioni negative su questo locale non sono vere…Tornati dopo 6 mesi il proprietario anche che il locale era ancora chiuso ci ha accolti come sempre…abbiamo mangiato benissimo…tutto fresco e la cosa più importante per me che li troviamo tutto senza glutine perché mio marito è celiaco…consigliamo questo locale..un abbraccio al proprietario e il figlio…ritorneremo sicuramente

Thanks to their bar service, I was able to enjoy an excellent breakfast with a good cappuccino and dessert (croissants, braids, etc.) while sitting comfortably and relaxing. The service excellent. The bar is open until early afternoon. Hellooooo.
