Dovendomi recare a Pordenone in zona Borgo Meduna avevo selezionato, in base ai giudizi trovati in rete, questo ristorante. Ero convinto di aver scelto un ristorante di un certo livello invece era un tipico ristorante rivolto ad accontentare i “lavoratori”, cioè con menù a prezzo fisso. L’ingresso era da tipica trattoria veneta; sembrava non ci fossero più posti liberi, invece una gentilissima signorina dopo nemmeno un minuto riusciva a trovarmi un tavolino tutto per me. La sala ristorante era completamente diversa: tavoli ben distanziati, riccamente arredata con quadri alle pareti e festoni natalizi, pulitissima! Il menù, se pure a prezzo fisso, proponeva moltissime varianti di primi e secondi. Io ho scelto il menù completo e devo dire che mi sembrava di essere a casa: cibi semplici, ma di qualità e cucinati benissimo, oltretutto mooolto abbondanti. Il prezzo, comprensivo di acqua, vino e caffè corretto … non ve lo dico, sarà una sorpresa (piacevole, per non dire sorprendentemente piacevole!)! Erano anni che non esprimevo giudizi in Internet, ma questa volta non ho potuto esimermi. Peccato che io sia di Treviso, altrimenti ci tornerei più spesso. Grazie ancora a tutto il personale per la cortesia che mi avete riservato (in 30 minuti avevo già mangiato!), al cuoco per l’attenzione dimostrata nella preparazione del cibo, al titolare per il voler offrire piatti semplici ma con prodotti di qualità ed a prezzo contenuto.

Having to go to Pordenone in the Borgo Meduna area, I had selected this restaurant, based on the reviews found online. I was convinced that I had chosen a restaurant of a certain level, but instead it was a typical restaurant aimed at satisfying "workers", i.e. with a fixed price menu. The entrance was from a typical Venetian trattoria; it seemed there were no more free seats, but after less than a minute a very kind lady managed to find me a table all for myself. The restaurant room was completely different: well-spaced tables, richly furnished with paintings on the walls and Christmas decorations, very clean! The menu, although at a fixed price, offered many variations of first and second courses. I chose the full menu and I must say that I felt like I was at home: simple, but quality and very well cooked food, plus very abundant. The price, including water, wine and correct coffee... I won't tell you, it will be a surprise (pleasant, not to mention surprisingly pleasant!)! It's been years since I expressed opinions on the Internet, but this time I couldn't help myself. Too bad I'm from Treviso, otherwise I would go back more often. Thanks again to all the staff for the courtesy you showed me (in 30 minutes I had already eaten!), to the chef for the attention shown in preparing the food, to the owner for wanting to offer simple dishes but with quality products and to low price.

Listen, do yourself a favor and order ravioli alla polenta e montasio. You'll thank me later.

…un ristorante che per il pranzo a prezzo fisso vi tratta così? Ampia scelta di piatti e contorni, mise en place perfetta, personale cortese, professionale e amichevole, ma soprattutto ottima qualità del cibo. Toilette sempre perfetta.
