Il Portico- Ristorante Pizzeria In Toirano

Intimate and well-kept venue in the central square of Toirano. Simply delicious pizza and pinsa (even those prepared with gluten-free dough), top-level toppings. For celiacs (like myself) I think it is one of the best equipped restaurants/pizzerias I have ever tried in my life. The service is nothing short of excellent, courtesy and kindness are the hosts. It's amazing to see how the owners care about satisfying the customer's requests in every way. We've been coming here for a few years now and it's always a pleasure to come back. We can only recommend it and return as soon as possible! Ps. This review is an update of an old one done a few years ago.

Very friendly staff, very welcoming place, excellent food

Just move 10 minutes away from the coast by car, to avoid the usual restaurants that serve frozen stuff that rips off tourists. In this restaurant you will appreciate the goodness of real cuisine and fresh pasta. Next time I'll try the pizza too. First courses and desserts are spectacular, at more than fair prices. Absolutely worth trying.

Very well-kept place in the heart of the historic center of Toirano, definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. The staff are friendly and very helpful and found us a table even though it was quite late. The dishes are tasty and among the off-menu dishes we chose with great satisfaction the mixed starter and the pansoti with walnut sauce. Definitely honest prices. Very highly recommended!

A real gem in the historic center of Toirano. We ate very well, both pizza and cuisine. Furthermore the staff is very kind. Pleasant surprise on the bill, where the children were not charged for the cover charge.

A nice place in the historic center of Toirano, the menu is very simple but satisfies everyone's tastes. We ate the pizza, the dough was good, low, crunchy and digestible, having had a margherita I found it very salty for my personal taste. Fast and friendly service, prices in line with the quality...excellent beers!

Essendo un recensore , mi sono fatto tentare dalle buone recensioni del locale (ovviamente non tenendo conto di quelle poche persone "mestruate" che si lamentano del nulla 😂). Beh il.titolo la dice tutta. O abbiamo beccato la serata no oppure c è qualcosa che non quadra. Ordinato un piatto a menù, e dopo 10 minuti ci viene detto che non era disponibile... Ordinato due bottiglie d'acqua naturali, e ce ne vengono portate due frizzanti. Più di mezz'ora di attesa per ricevere 3 pizze e un piatto di cima. Premetto che il locale era mezzo vuoto. Comunque. A parte questo preludio, veniamo al cibo. Le pizze senza arte né parte. Crosta dura, una un po' bruciacchiata sotto, ed impiattate un po' stile retrò. La cima era normale, ma il bagnetto sembrava più un pestato di erbe da giardino.... Comunque io ne ho girati di posti e locali, e tante volte mi domando come sia abituata a mangiare certa gente. Un vero peccato perché la location meritava. Ps:mi spiace non poter poi controbattere alla "sicura" risposta del/la titolare.
