Il Portico- Ristorante Pizzeria In Toirano

Very nice place, attentive and kind staff, quality food

Last night we had dinner at Portico and had high expectations. Unfortunately, we ordered a pizza and a pinsa, but they didn't satisfy us. The dough is decent enough, but the toppings were sparse. The pizza was anemic, meaning many parts weren't even covered in tomato sauce. The pinsa was a little better, although more like a bakery pizza. We ate them anyway, out of hunger, not taste. Never mind. We wanted to order second courses, but disappointment took over. The location is beautiful, the staff is generally friendly, but I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm also sorry that following my review, the owner responded in a truly unprofessional manner... I think reviews should be accepted, even if it helps us improve. But not everyone is a professional.

This is the real Liguria. A simple and charming place overlooking a small square in the charming village of Toirano. It's called "small cuisine," but in reality, the menu isn't that limited, and above all, the quality is excellent. We'll definitely be back to try other specialties of their home-cooked cuisine. Plus, the owners and staff are very friendly. We went on a rather cool evening two weeks ago, and seeing that I was cold, they offered me a fleece blanket, which kept me warm during dinner. I highly recommend it.

A delightful time in this pretty village. Excellent food, friendly staff, we'll be back in a few days.

Questo ristorante pizzeria ormai è diventato il nostro punto di riferimento per le cene quando andiamo in Liguria. Locale piccolo ma molto carino, personale gentile. Risottolineo la qualità delle materie prime utilizzate, in tutti i piatti. Essendo andati 3 sere abbiamo riprovato tutto e tutto era delizioso come sempre. Menzione d'onore a: pizze siciliana e pippi (per gli amanti del vero piccante), magatello, tartare, polpo, baba con crema pasticcera e infine.. cundigiun! Ricetta facile, ma dove la qualità delle materia prime è fondamentale! PS Essendo un locale piccolo è meglio prenotare in anticipo, accettano Satispay

5 stars are few! Pizzeria and small kitchen. And the definition of small cuisine won me over: good traditional dishes cooked with care! We had both lunch and dinner in this place with excellent cuisine and really friendly staff who were very attentive even to those with food intolerance problems.

My taste buds are still aching for the pizza with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts and the pizza with toma, blueberries, lard and honey. Top!

Just move 10 minutes away from the coast by car, to avoid the usual restaurants that serve frozen stuff that rips off tourists. In this restaurant you will appreciate the goodness of real cuisine and fresh pasta. Next time I'll try the pizza too. First courses and desserts are spectacular, at more than fair prices. Absolutely worth trying.

Very welcoming place, friendly, helpful and attentive staff without being intrusive. We had a farinata with fresh artichokes and one with cod which were spectacular to say the least! Very honest prices with excellent quality of raw materials.
