Il Portico- Ristorante Pizzeria In Toirano

A nice place in the historic center of Toirano, the menu is very simple but satisfies everyone's tastes. We ate the pizza, the dough was good, low, crunchy and digestible, having had a margherita I found it very salty for my personal taste. Fast and friendly service, prices in line with the quality...excellent beers!

...what can I say...coming back to the Portico is always a guarantee for an excellent dinner and an excellent evening! This time no oversight: the stars are 5!!!

Essendo un recensore , mi sono fatto tentare dalle buone recensioni del locale (ovviamente non tenendo conto di quelle poche persone "mestruate" che si lamentano del nulla 😂). Beh il.titolo la dice tutta. O abbiamo beccato la serata no oppure c è qualcosa che non quadra. Ordinato un piatto a menù, e dopo 10 minuti ci viene detto che non era disponibile... Ordinato due bottiglie d'acqua naturali, e ce ne vengono portate due frizzanti. Più di mezz'ora di attesa per ricevere 3 pizze e un piatto di cima. Premetto che il locale era mezzo vuoto. Comunque. A parte questo preludio, veniamo al cibo. Le pizze senza arte né parte. Crosta dura, una un po' bruciacchiata sotto, ed impiattate un po' stile retrò. La cima era normale, ma il bagnetto sembrava più un pestato di erbe da giardino.... Comunque io ne ho girati di posti e locali, e tante volte mi domando come sia abituata a mangiare certa gente. Un vero peccato perché la location meritava. Ps:mi spiace non poter poi controbattere alla "sicura" risposta del/la titolare.

My wife, I and my son ate last night in this restaurant in the beautiful village of Toirano. The location is beautiful, the staff are very friendly and above all the food is excellent from the pinsa (even the gluten-free one is exceptional for me as I have celiac disease) to the fresh pasta cuisine and excellent second courses such as the stuffed pocket always available, all gluten free too. Fantastic desserts! We will be back for sure!

Booked this place because it indicated gluten-free options. In fact it's pretty much everything with the gluten-free option, including fresh pasta, pizzas and pinse. We ate very well. Attentive and helpful service. Uncommon combinations such as Taggiasca olive ice cream. To try!

Mega tasty Primi Piati (Pansotta) nice service! Unfortunately the secondi piati was not fresh and the stuffed ham was too old for our taste! A pity!

A perfect dinner! Professionally organized with expertly cooked traditional Ligurian food. At the table, the flavors of the past in a super welcoming place. The "Portico" of Toirano is always a certainty. I've known it for years, today I can say it's excellent even for birthday dinners! Excellent quality - price.
