Excellent food excellent service

We had dinner at Poggio and, as always, we had a good time. The environment is welcoming, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is really good. We really appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that they kindly let us stay late. However, this time there were some small mix-ups in the orders. We had asked for a portion of chips and a mixed fry, but we received two portions of both. We didn't send anything back because we didn't want to waste the food, but it was more than we asked for. A friend received a vegetarian sandwich with chips and provolone, but without vegetables. Instead, chips and provolone were only meant to be an addition, not a replacement. Luckily, they fixed the mistake right away. Another friend ordered the Ariccia pizza, which arrived very late, and in the meantime he had accidentally been brought a Margherita. Another friend asked for a Parma pizza with the addition of cherry tomatoes, but the pizza arrived without. The missing cherry tomatoes were counted in the pre-bill. We didn't report it because we had already received a discount and didn't want to seem excessive, but it remains a small mistake. Finally, another friend ordered a Gialla pizza, but since they ran out of yellow tomatoes, he accepted the red ones. Despite these inaccuracies, which we understand can happen especially on a crowded evening, the service was overall quick and the staff was always friendly and pleasant. We are loyal customers and will certainly return, but we hope that these small oversights can be improved to make the experience even more pleasant.

I give 5 stars to the best pizza I have eaten in recent years, to the girls led by Marica with a C and not with a K😂, and in any case to the fact that in the neighborhood where we stayed for work, there is nothing better absolutely. And then congratulations for the friendliness, professionalism and that feeling of feeling at home.

The service was flawless, with the dishes arriving on time and being not only delicious but also of excellent quality. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially considering the high standard. I can only recommend this restaurant!
