Excellent family restaurant serving Rieti cuisine. Fabulous lamb, excellent pasta dishes, and amazing tripe. Reasonably priced.

A rustic, welcoming place with delicious local dishes. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the dessert was excellent, and the coffee was good too! We'll definitely be back.

This is one of the two best restaurants on the Salaria state road (SS4), and it's worth stopping there specifically for this purpose, even if you're planning on stopping along the way. The restaurant is clean and has a family feel, as is its cuisine. The service is fast, and the staff is truly kind and welcoming. The first courses (traditional Roman dishes) are spectacular (special mention for the griscia) and the portions are generous. The second courses are also worth a try, especially the mixed grill and the chicken cutlet, accompanied by a succulent focaccia/pizza al piatto. The side dishes are as authentic as they are tasty, as is the bread served with the cover charge. Very good value for money.
