Lovely location, good food and helpful staff, unfortunately it is very touristy. In fact, I will not go back there again, prices are too high, portions are too small, it is fine for tourists.

Guys, this is 100 out of 100. Be sure to try the salmon; in my opinion, it's the best fish ever. The combination of fillet and the Chef's little imagination in the form of molecular practice is something unimaginable. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

A cozy, beautiful, and welcoming place. Truly amazing food: flavor, cooking, composition, and pairings. The chef was truly talented and friendly; he came into the dining room several times to ask how dinner was going. A truly excellent restaurant.

Best restaurant on my trip... wine wad superb too

September 21, 2025: After our last walking tour of Rome, we stopped here for a delicious dinner. We opted for the 7-course menu and chose our own red and rosé wines. The service was very friendly and the kitchen staff prepared delicious dishes. Highly recommended if you want to have a truly delicious meal in Rome. Excellent value for money!

Great, I love the food, excellent atmosphere and flavor

When in Rome, one should not miss dinning at Il Piccolo Mondo. The calm and beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant with glowing lights on a secluded pavement is magical at night. All four of our party agreed the food is absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The wine list is large with a great variety of quality Italian wines at reasonable prices. Finally the restaurant manager is most hospitable. My husband left his bag and wallet at the restaurant and only realised at midnight. We called the restaurant and they were there packing up. They assured us the bag was safe and they were happy to wait for us to go and collect it then as we told them we were leaving Rome the next morning. Very impressive. I had a sengseon dish, which involves wrapping fish in a salt and egg white batter, then baking it in the oven to break up the salt. The fish of the day, sea bass, was served, and it was incredibly fresh, tender, and delicious. The fries were also delicious, with a salty kick. The bread and olive oil provided were excellent.

This is an amazing restaurant, offering traditional Italian dishes with very creative additions. Most of us had various seafood dishes and everyone was very impressed. We finished our meals with similarly creative desserts. Our waiter was very attentive. The wine list was organized by region of Italy and offered an interesting variety of choices. We are already thinking about returning tomorrow!
