Excellent food. We've tried five different dishes so far, and every single one has been delicious. The grilled tuna and the tiramisu particularly stood out for us. Despite the language barrier, we had a very cordial interaction with the gentleman who served us. We felt very comfortable and well looked after.

We stumbled upon this place by chance – from the outside, the restaurant looks rather unassuming. The food was all the better for it: delicious, handmade pasta, fresh mussels, and very friendly service.

Despite there being four tables, the wait for dinner was long...over half an hour. The pasta with tomato sauce arrived first. Good, nothing to complain about. The paccheri with lobster weren't tasty. Furthermore, there was only the head of the lobster, and the best part, the tail, was missing (see photo). The fresh scialatielli were good, but the crab sauce was bitter and nonexistent, not to mention that they were too oily (see photo). Water costs €3 and is listed on the menu as one liter, when in reality it's 750ml (see photo). I would recommend more attention in the kitchen to the seasonings and to the wait times. But I think the fault lies with the inefficient equipment of the single cook who has to do everything with two burners, I think. The service does what it can...from what I've seen, it's family-run, so I have the utmost respect for the effort they put in. For this reason alone, I'm not giving it a negative rating. The atmosphere is quite clean; I don't mind if the owner's dog sits on customers' chairs. Recommended? No...

Simply genuine and with few frills, you eat really well, we will be back.

There was something about this place that attracted me, perhaps its authenticity compared to others. I was with my wife and our son, who lives and works here during the summer. We were greeted by a very friendly islander, whose warmth made us feel immediately at ease, as if we were at home. We didn't have a huge appetite, so we decided to just order some first courses. I opted for spaghetti alla chitarra with octopus, my wife chose penne all'arrabbiata, and my son had the classic tortellini with meat sauce. While we waited, the friendly gentleman who welcomed us kept us company, bringing us delicious bread. In less than fifteen minutes, the dishes were already on our table. My spaghetti was a real surprise. I expected a meat sauce, but instead I found pieces of octopus in a sauce fragrant with fresh cherry tomatoes. A simple but extremely tasty dish, which I happily polished off, mopping up the sauce with the legendary "scarpetta" (bread). My wife's penne had just the right touch of chili pepper, while my son's tortellini were generous and rich in ragù, so much so that they also required a generous mopping up of the sauce. With a glass of white wine, water, and coffee, the bill came to between €50 and €60. A more than reasonable price, given that the first courses were so generous (the octopus pieces were worthy of a second course) that they filled us completely. The setting is rustic and welcoming, with the open kitchen creating a convivial atmosphere. Our host's hospitality was the icing on the cake. If I have the chance to return, this place will be my first choice.
