We had the pleasure of spending three hours at Il Papavero and time seemed to fly: the tasting menu was an impeccable sensorial journey, with dishes that were not only delicious, but also creative and presented with great care.
What made the experience truly special, however, was the unique atmosphere we breathed thanks to the dining room manager, Francesco, and all the staff. Each dish was explained to us with passion and competence, without ever seeming too formal or distant. Their attention to detail and ability to make us feel at home transformed lunch into an experience we will not easily forget.
A restaurant where the quality of the food combines perfectly with the warm welcome of the staff. We will definitely be back!

I had wanted to try Il Papavero's dishes for some time and so today I left with my family for Eboli. It was worth it.
The location is well looked after, welcoming and very particular, the staff is courteous, attentive and discreet. Perfect times and exquisite dishes, well balanced, with excellent raw materials. Particular praise goes to the perfect egg and the desserts, an example of haute patisserie. We will definitely return, congratulations!

Wonderful location (a private farmhouse transformed into a restaurant) where they serve "starred" dishes without forgetting tradition. The pasta and potatoes are noteworthy and to call it that is really an understatement. Rich selection of wines. And then finally, in a big way, delicious ones that arise from the skilled hands and exceptional creativity of the sweet pastry chef Benedetta. Highly recommended

At the time of payment they didn't have change to give... the bill was 92.50, instead of charging 90 (since they don't have change) they thought it best to let €95 go! I would have taken away the €2.50, I would not have doubled it to the customer!!

Valentine's Day lunch, 14/2/2025. Let me start by saying that I was a regular customer until three years ago, then I moved to Campania for work reasons. The restaurant was and is excellent, the menu for the event is at a fixed price of €100, drinks not included. We come to the sommelier and dining room manager, he is affable and presents himself well and describes the courses well. We ask for a wine by the glass, he brings us a "per' e palummo" of Casa d' Ambra 2023, a wine worth €11, more or less, poured into the glass without tasting and without showing the bottle!! With a menu with quality dishes with caviar and truffle, an incomprehensible combination... what's more, on the bill, charged at €10 per glass, a mark-up of 500x100!! We have always trusted the restaurant's sommelier, the previous mâitre, Roberto was a connoisseur of regional wines and he never disappointed us, frankly ruining a well-balanced meal with a cheap wine... for what? earning a few euros, frankly disconcerting. Of course I should have refused the wine, generally I don't make a fuss...maybe I'm wrong...I say, the chef is up to the mark as is the location, but avoid these lapses...

Locale molto elegante con alternanza di arredamenti antichi e quadri moderni. Si trova in un appartamento la primo piano distribuito su più camere con ampi spazi. Abbiamo mangiato alla Carta dove c'è una sufficiente scelta di piatti di pesce e di terra. molto curata la tavola piatti di ottima quantità e porzioni adeguate. Ottimo il baccalà ma anche i ravioli e le ancelle. Molto piacevoli le piccole prelibatezze servite come piatto di entrata e la piccola pasticceria che precede e segue il dessert. Servizio attento, ampia cantina con ampia scelta prezzo adeguato.
