Wonderful experience! When I booked, I made a small request, and to my surprise, it was granted. I didn't use the bathroom, but my girlfriend said they were gorgeous, clean, and absolutely beautiful. The welcome was top-notch; we were seated and given not only two chairs, but also a third place to put our bags. The food was excellent, with delicious combinations. The prices were absolutely reasonable for the category. I highly recommend everyone to go there.

Il Papavero è molto più di un ristorante: è un piccolo scrigno di autenticità e calore, un’esperienza gastronomica che unisce semplicità e raffinatezza, radicata nel territorio ma con lo sguardo rivolto alla contemporaneità. Ogni piatto racconta la Piana del Sele e il Golfo di Salerno, con una cucina pulita, essenziale e profondamente etica, grazie all’uso integrale degli ingredienti. Molto bravo lo chef Fabio. Il clima di accoglienza, tra i colori delle sale interne e il verde rigoglioso del giardino estivo, fa sentire davvero a casa. Restaurant inside a building. Two tasting menus and à la carte. Good appetizers. Excellent egg. Also very good ravioli. Special cod alla pizzaiola, tender and tasty. Decent desserts. Good service. Excellent quality/price ratio.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant and was really impressed. The dishes are excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with great care. Each dish is a small journey into flavours, with intriguing combinations that surprise without ever being excessive. The menu manages to combine creativity and tradition in a harmonious way. All this is accompanied by attentive and discreet service. In relation to the quality offered, the prices are absolutely interesting. A gastronomic experience that I can recommend!

Abbiamo avuto il piacere di trascorrere tre ore presso il Papavero ed il tempo è sembrato volare: il menù degustazione è stato un viaggio sensoriale impeccabile, con piatti non solo deliziosi, ma anche creativi e presentati con grande cura. Ciò che ha reso l’esperienza davvero speciale, però, è stata l’atmosfera unica che abbiamo respirato grazie al direttore di sala, Francesco, e a tutto il personale. Ogni piatto ci è stato spiegato con passione e competenza, senza mai risultare troppo formale o distante. La loro attenzione ai dettagli e la capacità di farci sentire a casa, ha trasformato il pranzo in un’esperienza che non dimenticheremo facilmente. Un ristorante dove la qualità del cibo si sposa perfettamente con la calda accoglienza del personale. Torneremo sicuramente!
