Very well-kept location, service worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, good menu but honestly I expected something more.

We made a reservation for a very quiet night at this lovely and quirky restaurant full of interesting art. They seated us in one of their rooms with only another couple, so it was very intimate and romantic. The service was impeccable and the experience was wonderful. We decided to order a la carte because my husband is a pescetarian so we didn't want to worry about them having to make adjustments. We received their amuse bouche to start (which the chef makes for everyone, it's included in the experience) which were absolutely delicious, though one was meat-based. We also ordered the cuttlefish "tagliatelle" which is cuttlefish formed into a long pasta - served cold in a really good cream sauce, it was excellent. Then we had mezzo rigatoni with sting ray - amazing, such an interesting dish. And fish my husband and I had separate mains, he ordered a cod dish which he loved and I ordered the duck which I found to be overcooked but otherwise very flavorful - I should have known better than to order duck in Italy as it's not really their specialty. We also loved the dessert - we ordered the milk and honey one and it comes with all these tiny additional desserts. The wine we ordered was a really nice Piedmonte orange wine - Demarie Sabbia - which was so, so good, I highly recommend ordering that if you like orange wines as it went so well with everything we ordered and it was one of their more affordable bottles. Overall we were very impressed and felt well taken care of. Our final bill including wine was about 150€ which is reasonable for a Michelin star restaurant and such a high quality meal. Just a small warning that it's not obvious where the main door is, it's around the corner from where Google maps brought us, and you have to buzz in. Reservations are absolutely a must, though we made ours the same day.

Excellent experience, everything perfect, fair prices, even too low, a unique experience that I have not had in other starred restaurants, THE Michelin STAR IS DESERVED. Excellent food, friendly and smiling staff, impeccable attention to detail, what can I say, you can only return with a smile.

There are no words to describe the culinary experience at this restaurant. The ambiance is elegant and refined, as are the staff and the dishes: impeccable presentation, flavors that fully showcase the Campania tradition and reveal the meticulous attention to detail and research. I was particularly blown away by the egg with pecorino and leek and their historic Neapolitan pasta. Its Michelin star is fully deserved. I recommend the seven-course tasting menu; it's more of a journey than a dinner. ❤️

The Pastry Shop could easily fit into a 2-Michelin-star restaurant; the quality is very high. The cuisine is excellent. The wine list is high-quality and offers excellent products at an affordable price. The outdoor garden for lunch in the summer could use some ventilation.

Torno in questo bellissimo posto da alcuni anni. Il Papavero è molto più di un ristorante: è un piccolo scrigno di autenticità e calore, un’esperienza gastronomica che unisce semplicità e raffinatezza, radicata nel territorio ma con lo sguardo rivolto alla contemporaneità. Ogni piatto racconta la Piana del Sele e il Golfo di Salerno, con una cucina pulita, essenziale e profondamente etica, grazie all’uso integrale degli ingredienti. Molto bravo lo chef Fabio. Il clima di accoglienza, tra i colori delle sale interne e il verde rigoglioso del giardino estivo, fa sentire davvero a casa. Il Papavero è uno di quei rari luoghi dove la qualità va a braccetto con l’onestà dei prezzi: una tappa del cuore, da custodire e consigliare. Ristorante al secondo piano di un palazzo del centro di Eboli, 1 stella michelin 2024. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo ( c e' il menu più ristretto da 5 portate a 60 € che è veramente un prezzo ottimo per uno stellato), proposta culinaria di alto livello, buona la pasta con ragù di polpo in spuma di patate , così come la ricciola con le puntarelle ,cotta alla perfezione ,splendido il contrasta con l amaro delle puntarelle. Buono il.dolce alla nocciola con spuma alla mozzarella di bufala, buono e di livello l'accostamento dei vini. Servizio top , professionale e cordiale. Una gran bella esperienza ,andateci

22/10/2025: Adjectives to describe the owners of this restaurant... a beautiful couple... friendly... helpful... generous... unique... Impeccable service... divine dishes... and I must say, abundant too. I recommend everything... But to describe the ravioli filled with buffalo ricotta, anchovy sauce, and lemon, only one word is needed: wow!!! It was raining today... but the sun was shining. They even lent us an umbrella to get to the car... They're really very nice... See you next time!!!
19/10/2025: The ravioli with anchovy sauce was delicious, but I have to take off one star for the small portion size
