I had lunch in this restaurant aware that the tasting journey had to be interpreted as an experience, something to explore, to set the taste buds in motion in the perception of flavours. I don't post any photos, just visit their site. I really appreciated the research not only in the presentation of the dishes, beautiful, but in the valorisation of local products, a total exaltation. However, I leave everyone with their own thoughts on the matter, you can try it even just once, I challenge anyone not to go back again. For me it was a real pleasure.

On a special day for me, I did very well to rely on Papavero. We cannot help but compliment the chef for his stellar and starred cuisine, the owner, the staff who served us, the friendly and knowledgeable sommelier and last but not least, the pastry chef who made us conclude an already fantastic dinner with top-notch desserts. I have already been to Papavero and will certainly return. Well done everyone.

A superb experience than this dinner at Papavero.
An exceptional tasting menu, and particularly the anti-pasti: cuttlefish tagliatelle with truffle to start, followed by a perfect egg that will stay in the memory for a long time.
Very good food and wine pairing, slight downside the wines are served a little too cold (but this is always the case in Italy I have the impression), so you just need to be a little patient for the marriage with the dish is perfect.
Perfect service, very kind waiter and sommelier.
Beautiful location, we had a room in the apartment to ourselves.
And finally, the quality/price ratio is incredible.

We visited Ristorante Il Papavero on a Sunday lunchtime and enjoyed a five-course menu at an unbeatably fair price for this level.
The dishes were all very good in terms of quality, craftsmanship and taste. Our favorites were the egg with leek and pecorino and the hazelnut, licorice and buffalo mozzarella dessert.
The service and the owner were very friendly, warm, approachable and personal. We felt very comfortable and welcome.
The ambience of the restaurant is very special and almost like a museum with a number of works of art; definitely something different.
We can expressly recommend Il Papavero.
