Ok place with ok food. Never been here before, and wanted to try something different. Pricing is on the higher side. For what we got, I felt we overpaid.

Whenever I get off the highway, I exit at Battipaglia and stop at this shop to buy their fabulous grilled sandwiches, sfogliatelle, cheeses, and mozzarella, so I don't get ripped off by the overpriced restaurants I've been getting lately. This shop, however, has great prices and absolutely fresh products. A+++!!!

23/08/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Hortus in Castellabate. Owner/Chef Costabile Guariglia proved to be not only a hospitable person but a true artist in every sense (he teaches art in Rome). His artistic experience shines through not only in the restaurant, but especially in his cuisine. His dishes are never banal, but creative yet substantial, using only the finest ingredients and what the market offers at the time. It was a wonderful discovery and an excellent experience...from every point of view...we hope to be able to repeat it in the future. Thank you 👏
