Bakery/pizzeria in Trieste's midtown area, offering excellent value and located on the edge of a charming, hidden, and very shaded square. A great spot for a quick lunch at the outdoor tables under the shade of the trees. Very good pizza.

I stopped by Il Pane Quotidiano, drawn by the wide selection of desserts and the chance to try a granita. Unfortunately, there was some confusion when ordering, and the wait took a while. The millefeuille was decent, with a good cream, but the pastry could have been crispier. The cannoli, however, didn't convince me: the wafer wasn't very fragrant, and the ricotta wasn't particularly flavorful. The place is well-stocked and inviting, but the overall experience was mixed. 📍 A place with potential, but with some details that could be improved, especially in the management and attention to detail of some of the preparations.

The place is located in a shaded and quiet pedestrian area with tables outside where you can eat. There is no table service. For a glass of orange juice and a slice of cake, I paid €9.10 (€4 + €5.10), and the leaves hadn't even been removed from one strawberry on the cake. Despite the fact that a €6 breakfast menu (coffee + juice + croissant) was advertised in the window outside the place without any written conditions, I was told at the counter that this menu was only valid Monday through Friday; it would have been enough to clearly state it.

I really liked their "tosta" and the coffee. The service was also excellent, and the staff was very friendly. It's worth noting that the terrace on the promenade is very pretty. I had breakfast twice because I liked it.

Tasty food and good drinks but service not so great . Slow and bit rude .

There is no table service, but they are very quick to serve you even when it is very crowded. Great for an aperitif

Non capisco le recensioni negative. La location in viale è molto carina (hanno appena rinnovato i tavoli per avere più posti a sedere all'aperto) e il cibo è buono. Io per una colazione o un aperitivo in viale lo consiglio senz'altro.

Abbiamo preso una pinza, un croissant e un caffè. Senza infami a senza lode. Insomma un locale come ce ne sono tanti. Servizio distratto (molto).
