I hadn't been back to this restaurant in a while, even though I had fond memories of it. Yesterday I decided to return, and I was even more thrilled. My husband and I ordered raw seafood (very fresh and delicate), a first course: pasta with sea urchins and red prawns (a delight for the palate, exquisite, fruity, and creamy), a fried prawn and calamari dish (equally delicious, golden brown and not rubbery), and a peach sorbet (delicious and delicate). The staff and owner were very kind and helpful. The location was welcoming, elegant, and intimate. Prices were reasonable. I highly recommend it.

A place that you might not think of from the outside, but inside it's really cute and has an elegant and pleasant atmosphere. The staff is young, dynamic, and friendly, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The entire place is spotless, including the kitchen, which you glimpse upon entering. This alone tells you you've entered a place where the owners put their heart and soul into what they do, and inside, there's a family atmosphere and passion for their work. All the dishes were very good. The fried anchovies were exquisite, as were the linguine with sea urchins and shrimp, and the one with lobster. The main courses (squid and tuna) were less appealing but equally good. The sorbets were sublime. The limoncello offered at the end of the meal was also appreciated. Well done!

A very pleasant evening, excellent first courses, friendly and welcoming staff, Sciaron smiling and "checazza" (translate in a Neapolitan dictionary), the evening ended with music and singing. Sciaron's boyfriend (I forgot his name, though! 1) tried to get us drunk with a series of digestives of all colors and flavors, after dinner, and he almost succeeded. Exceptional, unforgettable. GO LECCE GO NAPLES ❤️❤️

A welcoming atmosphere with an almost family-like hospitality that reflects the history of Salento. Fresh food is freshly prepared and offers a delicious, time-honored flavor. Local ingredients are carefully crafted, succulent, and unforgettable for their fresh flavor, especially the freshly caught fish from our sea... not to mention the truly exceptional seafood. Thanks to the owners for their honesty, hospitality, and well-organized service.

A charming small restaurant in Veglie, which is itself a small town in the Salento region of Puglia. Specializing in seafood based dishes, the restaurant produces consistently high quality dishes. Run by a husband and wife, they took outstanding care of us with our limited Italian and their non-existent English, but overall, an outstanding experience! If you are in the area, I would highly recommend!

03/09/2025: We had both pizza and grilled meat. The pizza was good and easy to digest, and the meat was perfectly cooked and tender (which, being horse meat, isn't a given).
23/08/2025: On a hot, sultry evening, my group of friends and I decided to come and eat at this inn in the heart of Salento. We arrived at the location, punctual as Swiss clocks, ready to eat and savor delicious dishes. We chatted about getting a reserved table and waited, then waited, and waited...and waited...and wait, and wait again, and wait for an hour and a quarter. We waited the entire time, standing outside the door, sweating with the "faugno squajato" of an August evening. The clock struck 11:15 PM and they sat us down. They pretended nothing was happening, but our anger and dissatisfaction were already high. We sat down, tried to order, and were told we couldn't order half the dishes because they were sold out or the kitchen was starting to die. We settled for pizzas, which were good, but our taste buds were clouded by the already-determined reasons. The service left us dissatisfied; no apology from the management, much less any freebies to calm our nerves. We were disheartened and wondered why this affront and why us, we wondered why they made us book if there was no room. We try to forget, but the rush is so intense. The drinks arrive; we ask for Coca-Cola Zeros, but they arrive plain without any explanation; we ask for beers, but they arrive in installments and piping hot. Applause for the quick and delicious pizzas, both the dough and the toppings. At the end, a surprise: they offer us amaro. It wasn't enough, but we make do. In conclusion, it's a good place to eat, but I warn you: book at your own risk; the owners like to hype up the place and have people line up under the faugno. Kisses, kisses🌟🌟
